YouTube does not document autoplay as a way to restore playback after a power outage. Autoplay moves to another related video when the current video ends; after power returns, reopen YouTube and try playing your saved playlist again. YouTube does not guarantee that playback will resume at the same video or timestamp.
Before an outage: save the podcast playlist
If you have built a queue in YouTube on a computer, save its videos to a named playlist before closing the browser or ending the session. YouTube says, “Your queue won’t save after you’ve closed your browser.” A saved playlist preserves your selection for later, but it does not guarantee that YouTube will restore the exact item or playback position after an outage. What autoplay does—and does not do
Autoplay is for moving on after a video finishes: YouTube says, “When Autoplay is on, another related video will automatically play after a video ends.” It is not documented as a power-loss recovery feature. Autoplay controls can also differ by device, so enabling it should not be treated as a way to restart a playlist after power returns. YouTube Help: Autoplay videos

After power returns: reopen and replay
- Restore power and network access. Turn the streaming device back on and confirm that the router or modem has reconnected.
- Open YouTube again. Launch the app or revisit YouTube in your browser.
- Open the saved playlist or video and press Play. YouTube’s general troubleshooting guidance recommends returning to YouTube after a device restart and trying to replay the video. It does not promise automatic playlist restoration or resumption at the previous timestamp. YouTube Help: Troubleshoot problems playing videos
Behavior can vary by device, operating system, app, and browser. The available YouTube guidance does not establish a universal recovery behavior for TVs, streaming devices, phones, or computers.

YouTube Music queues on connected devices
YouTube Music documents a setting for continuing active queues across connected devices. Its help page describes switching devices, not recovering a queue after a power outage, and the feature should not be assumed to apply to all YouTube playback. Prevent interruptions during short outages with a UPS
A UPS can keep selected equipment—such as your router, modem, and streaming device—powered during an outage, provided the connected load is within its limits and the battery has enough runtime. Runtime is finite and depends on the load. This can reduce the chance of losing playback during a short outage; it does not make YouTube restore the session. APC explains that a UPS can provide battery backup and surge protection for connected equipment when power is interrupted or fluctuates. APC: UPS Buying Guide: Battery backup for uninterrupted power
