To reset a VANKYO projector, open its settings and choose the factory-restore option listed for your exact model. There is no single menu path for every VANKYO projector: for example, the general FAQ says Menu > Option > Restore Factory Default, while the Leisure 495W manual uses Homepage > Setting > System Setting > Restore Factory Default. Check your model’s manual before confirming, especially if you only intend to reset screen mirroring.
Find the reset path for your model
VANKYO’s manual directory includes guides for projector models such as the V630, Leisure 3, and Leisure 3W. Check the model name or number on your projector and use the matching manual; menu labels vary between models and interfaces. VANKYO manuals

Reset the projector’s settings
- Check the model number on your projector and open its corresponding manual in VANKYO’s manual directory.
- Use the manual’s menu path to find the option named Restore Factory Default, Restore Factory, or Factory Reset. Do not assume another model’s labels apply.
- Confirm the reset only after checking that you selected the projector’s system reset, not a screen-mirroring reset.
The instructions cited here describe restoring default settings through the menus. They do not establish a universal physical reset button or button-hold combination.

On the Leisure 495W, the projector reset and screen-mirroring reset are separate menu actions. To reset mirroring, use Homepage > Input Source > MULTISCREEN > Cast Settings > Restore Factory Default, then select Confirm. That path is for the mirroring module; it is not the projector’s system reset. The Leisure 430W manual also describes a separate reset for its screen-mirroring module.

If the remote does not respond
VANKYO’s FAQ advises checking that the batteries are installed correctly and have enough power. Replacing the remote’s AAA batteries may help if they are depleted, but changing batteries does not reset the projector. If your projector has usable onboard controls, you may be able to navigate its menus without the remote; the available guidance does not establish one control sequence for all models.
