Fortress Saga’s official support instructions explain how to switch to a different login account, not how to erase progress and reroll on the same account. To switch accounts, go to Settings → Log out → Restart Game → Login with the new account. Pocket Gamer advises that rerolling generally is not worth the time because early play offers limited access to heroes and restarting gives up progress without guaranteeing a better result.
What “rerolling” means in Fortress Saga
Players use “reroll” to mean restarting early progress to try for a different hero or summon result. That is different from signing in with another account. The official support page documents the account-switching procedure, but does not describe a way to reset progress on the same linked account, repeatedly reroll on a guest account, clear game data to delete a save, or guarantee deletion of linked progress.

Fortress Saga is an idle RPG built around a moving fortress, hero summons, upgrades, and offline progression, according to its Google Play listing. The listing also labels the game as containing in-app purchases and random items, so summon outcomes and spending are worth considering before you restart.

- Open Settings in Fortress Saga.
- Select Log out.
- Restart the game.
- Choose Login with the new account and sign in.
These are the steps in Fortress Saga’s official account-switching instructions. They change the login account; they do not establish that the save on your existing account has been erased. Before logging out, make sure you can access the account you intend to keep.

If linked progress has reset
If your play data appears to have reset while linked through Google or Apple, do not treat the change as a reroll method. The official play-data reset support page directs players to contact Customer Service. Ask support for help recovering or checking the affected account rather than trying account changes that could complicate access.

Pocket Gamer’s current Fortress Saga guide recommends against rerolling: early play does not provide access to all heroes, and restarting sacrifices progress without guaranteeing a good hero. That is the guide’s judgment, not a developer rule.

A fresh account may still make sense if you specifically want a clean start and are willing to replay the early game. But the available sources do not establish a reroll reward advantage, current pull count, summon odds, or a guaranteed starter target. Check the summons and event rewards shown in your current game version before deciding; those details can change.
