If a Google Maps listing gives the wrong wheelchair-accessibility information, submit an edit for the specific feature—such as the entrance, restroom, seating, parking or elevator—from the place’s profile in the Google Maps mobile app. You can also describe accessibility details from a recent visit in a review. Google reviews submissions, but its help pages do not give a fixed time for a change to appear.
Report the incorrect accessibility feature in the Google Maps app

Open the Google Maps app on a mobile device, find the business and open its place profile.

Go to the place’s About section. On Android, choose Edit features. Google’s iOS instructions use Update this place.

Select the accessibility feature that is wrong or missing, choose the accurate information and submit the suggestion.

The exact controls can vary by device and region. Google says attribute edits are mobile-only and available only in certain countries and regions. If you cannot find an accessibility option, use Google’s [general place-edit instructions](https://support.google.com/maps/answer/7084895) to check whether an edit is available for that listing.
Choose the specific detail that needs correcting
Google Maps treats wheelchair accessibility as separate features, not a single guarantee that every part of a business is accessible. Its guidance covers:

Entrance: Google describes an accessible entrance as approximately 3 feet (1 meter) wide and without steps. If there are steps, it says a permanent or movable ramp should be present. An entrance available only through revolving doors should be marked “No.”

Restroom: The restroom entrance should be at least 1 meter wide and reachable without steps. If a visitor needs to enter a stall, Google also specifies a stall entrance at least 1 meter wide.

Seating: The main area should be reachable without stairs and have enough room to navigate to and sit at a table. Google says a business with only standing-height tables is not wheelchair friendly.

Parking: Report whether a parking space specifically marked for people with accessibility needs is available. Markings vary by country or region.

Elevator: For a multi-floor location, report whether there is an elevator large enough for a wheelchair.
These are Google’s definitions for its Maps attributes; they are not a complete statement of local building-code requirements or of every visitor’s access needs. Correct the particular detail you observed rather than treating one positive attribute as proof that the whole location is accessible. What to do if you do not know the correct value
For some place attributes, Google’s general editing instructions offer “Don’t know, but this is incorrect” when you can tell the displayed information is wrong but do not know the right answer. That choice is not available for every attribute. If it does not appear, avoid guessing; submit only information you can support from what you observed.

You may be able to add a photo to help Google verify a place edit. Google says submitted photos are public under your name, so upload one only if you are comfortable making it public. Details are in [Google’s place-edit instructions](https://support.google.com/maps/answer/7084895).
Share accessibility information in a review
If you recently visited the business, Google also allows accessibility information to be shared through a review. On the place profile, use the Wheelchair accessibility field when available, and add a concise factual description in the review text if it helps explain what you encountered. A review shares your visit experience; it is an alternative way to inform other users, not a substitute for submitting an attribute correction. In supported regions, you can also search for the place on Google Search, select Suggest an edit, change the relevant attribute, review the change and submit it. Google says you can add a photo to help verify the suggestion; those photos are public under your name. Availability varies by region. Check the edit and understand what happens next
Google reviews submitted place edits, and an accepted change may take time to appear. The cited help instructions do not specify a turnaround time or guarantee that a suggestion will be published. You can check the status of your contributions in Google Maps using [Google’s edit-status instructions](https://support.google.com/maps/answer/10610362).
For an incorrect business detail, use the place-edit workflow rather than general product feedback. Google directs reports of wrong or missing map data through place editing; general Maps feedback is for issues with the product experience or bugs. If the relevant edit control is unavailable, feature availability may be limited in your country or region.
