As of October 4, 2026, official sources do not confirm whether Gears of War: E-Day lets you replay completed chapters or how collectibles found during replay are saved. Third-party coverage reports that chapter replay can recover missed items, but treat that as unconfirmed. Check the Campaign menu for chapter selection, then verify the item in the campaign collectible tracker before relying on it for completion.
Does Gears of War: E-Day let you replay chapters?
It is not established by the official materials available as of October 4, 2026. The official E-Day gameplay-updates page describes the game as a new title built from scratch, but the material reviewed there does not document chapter replay or collectible persistence. A third-party article reports chapter-level replay and collectible carryover, but that report is not an official guarantee.
The game’s campaign has an all-collectibles completion goal. A third-party guide reports the Xbox achievement wording as “Find all Collectibles in the Campaign (any difficulty).” That establishes the stated goal as reported by the guide; it does not explain whether replaying a chapter adds a missed item to the campaign total.
How to check for chapter replay and recover a missed item
- Open the Campaign menu. Look for chapter selection, either after reaching the relevant chapter or after finishing the campaign. The available information does not establish that every chapter will be selectable.
- Select the chapter containing the missed item if the menu offers it, then replay the relevant section and collect the item.
- Check the campaign collectible tracker or War Journal. Confirm that the item is counted before treating it as recovered or relying on it for the campaign collection goal.
The save timing is unresolved: available information does not establish whether a replay pickup is saved immediately or only after the chapter is completed. Do not assume it is safe to quit partway through. The cited third-party reports are not a substitute for confirmation in your current game build.

If chapter selection is missing or the item does not count
- If you cannot find chapter selection, use the Campaign menu options available in your current build; the feature’s availability is not confirmed by the official materials reviewed.
- If you collected the item but the tracker did not change, check the tracker again after completing the chapter rather than assuming the pickup persisted.
- For current behavior, consult the game’s official support or update information. Replay and pickup persistence may depend on the retail build or a later update, and the cited third-party guidance may describe a different version.

The official Xbox product page lists October 6, 2026 as the availability date and describes Xbox Series X|S optimization and Game Pass availability, with Xbox and PC play options listed.
