To renew AT&T PREPAID service, sign in at paygonline.com and make a payment, or call 611 from your AT&T wireless phone or 1-800-901-9878 from another phone. AT&T’s current prepaid-specific help documents online and phone account management, but does not confirm a step-by-step renewal flow in the myAT&T app.

Renew your AT&T PREPAID plan online

  1. Go to paygonline.com.
  2. Sign in with your AT&T PREPAID wireless number and four-digit password.
  3. Select Make a Payment to add money to the account. AT&T also supports using the account to check your balance, manage usage, set up AutoPay, and manage plans and add-ons. See AT&T’s prepaid account-management instructions.

A payment adds funds to the prepaid account; changing the plan is a separate account action. For a plan change, sign in, select Manage Prepaid account, then Plans, choose a plan, and follow the prompts. AT&T recommends changing plans the day before the payment due date to avoid losing remaining services on the current plan. For a Multi-Line plan, only the account owner can change the plan. Details: AT&T’s plan-change instructions.

Pay or manage the account by phone

Call 611 from an AT&T wireless phone, or call 1-800-901-9878 from a landline or another phone to access prepaid account management. For AutoPay enrollment, AT&T directs customers to call 611 or 800-901-9878, choose Balance and payments and then AutoPay, enter the four-digit PIN, and follow the prompts. Phone AutoPay accepts a credit card or a debit card with a major credit card logo. See AT&T’s AutoPay instructions.

For an automated plan change, call 611 or 800-901-9878, say “Manage my plan,” then “Make changes,” enter the four-digit PIN if requested, and follow the plan-selection prompts. This phone plan-change option is unavailable to Multi-Line account owners and members.

Can you renew in the myAT&T app?

AT&T’s prepaid account page says you can manage your account online from any device, but its reviewed prepaid-specific instructions do not provide an app renewal sequence. The general app information does not confirm that the app can complete a prepaid renewal. If you do not see prepaid payment controls in the app, use the prepaid account website or call one of the numbers above rather than relying on unverified app steps.

AT&T says AutoPay processes one day before the due date for monthly plans, and one day before the balance expires for non-monthly plans. A monthly AutoPay charge can include the plan and auto-renewing add-ons, plus applicable taxes and fees. AT&T’s page, last updated March 18, 2026, says eligible unlimited-plan customers may receive up to $15 off per month; confirm your plan’s current eligibility and terms before relying on a discount.

What happens if you do not pay on time?

Without AutoPay, pay by the due date to keep service active; AT&T says service will be turned off if you do not pay when due. AT&T also says a number may be reassigned after 60 days if you do not use AutoPay and do not pay when the account renews. These timing details are from AT&T’s page last updated March 18, 2026; see AutoPay and payment details and AT&T’s prepaid account and number guidance.
