For the Switch releases, community guides document a flow that starts by unlocking Mystery Gift at a Poké Mart, then receiving a Wonder Card over local wireless. Afterward, collect the reward from the deliveryman upstairs in a Pokémon Center. These steps are community-documented, not confirmed by FireRed and LeafGreen-specific Nintendo instructions; the original Game Boy Advance versions use a different wireless and event context.
How do I unlock Mystery Gift?
-
In the Switch release, go to a Poké Mart and interact with the questionnaire.
-
Enter LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL, then save your game. GB-Link and PK Camp document this phrase as the way to make Mystery Gift appear in the main menu: GB-Link’s Mystery Gift guide and PK Camp’s instructions.

How do I receive a Wonder Card on Switch?
The documented receiver flow uses local wireless, not an online code or internet redemption route. In the receiver’s game, choose Mystery Gift → Wonder Cards → Friend, then select the available sender or device. The sender chooses a Wonder Card and starts the transfer. GB-Link documents this procedure: GB-Link’s Wonder Card transfer instructions.
Where do I pick up the gift?
Receiving a Wonder Card and collecting its reward are separate steps. After the card is saved, speak to the green-clothed deliveryman upstairs in a Pokémon Center to collect the gift, as described in the community guide above. Pokémon Support describes delivery-person collection as a general event Pokémon pattern, but its guidance is not specific to these games: Pokémon Support.

How do I check a saved Wonder Card?
Open Mystery Gift and choose Wonder Cards to view a saved card, according to the community documentation. The exact menu path has not been independently confirmed by Nintendo for FireRed and LeafGreen.
Does the same method work on original GBA versions?
No. The original Game Boy Advance release has a distinct wireless and event-communication context; it should not be treated as the Switch local-wireless transfer flow. An adapter may be relevant for original-hardware setups, but the available documentation does not establish that one is needed for Switch: original GBA wireless and event context.
Rank #3
Are Mystery Gifts currently available for these games?
Current distribution availability for FireRed and LeafGreen was not established. The instructions explain how the documented Switch receiver process works when a sender has a Wonder Card to share; they do not confirm that a distribution is active. General event-delivery guidance from Pokémon Support does not establish availability for these specific games: Pokémon Support.
