To resume the message you’re writing in Mail on iPhone, swipe down on the message’s title bar to minimize it, then tap its title at the bottom of the screen. To open a different saved draft on iPhone or iPad, touch and hold the Compose button and choose the draft. If you need drafts from multiple accounts, turn on All Drafts in the Mailboxes list or sidebar.
Resume the draft currently open on iPhone

While composing, swipe down on the message’s title bar. Mail minimizes the message and shows its title at the bottom of the screen.

Tap that title to reopen the draft and continue writing.
This method returns to the message you just minimized; use the Compose menu to choose another saved draft.

Choose a saved draft on iPhone or iPad

Touch and hold the Compose button in Mail.

Select the draft you want from the list.
If you are still composing and want to save that message explicitly before leaving it, tap Close and choose Save Draft.
Find drafts from multiple accounts
Turn on All Drafts to see drafts from multiple email accounts together.

Tap Mailboxes in the upper-left corner until the Mailboxes screen appears.

Tap Edit, then turn on All Drafts.
On iPad

Show the Mail sidebar.

Tap Edit above the mailbox list, then turn on All Drafts.
