You can show several property tours in one YouTube Live event, but a regular YouTube playlist does not automatically feed videos into a live broadcast. Use a playlist to organize and order the tours, then send a sequential presentation from encoder software to YouTube through the Live Control Room. The exact clip-playback steps depend on the encoder you choose.
What a YouTube playlist can—and cannot—do
A YouTube playlist lets you collect videos and arrange their order. YouTube’s playlist instructions do not describe a playlist as an automatic source for an outgoing live stream. A viewer queue is different again: it helps someone choose what to watch next, and on desktop it is not saved when the browser closes unless the viewer saves it to a playlist. Neither feature, by itself, creates a live broadcast that plays your tours in sequence. YouTube’s playlist instructions and queue help explain those viewing and organization features.

Add the videos using search, a URL, or your channel library.

Drag the videos into the order you want viewers to see them. Treat this as your rundown: the playlist keeps the tour list organized, but your encoder still needs to produce the broadcast presentation.
Before going live, confirm that you have permission to use every video, including footage, music, narration, photographs, and other material incorporated into it. A public live event does not grant rights to material you do not own or have permission to use.
Connect an encoder to YouTube Live

Open YouTube Studio and go to Live Control Room. Create or schedule a stream, then copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that stream.

In your encoder, enter YouTube’s stream URL and key in its streaming or broadcast settings. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream.

Build the encoder output so that it presents the tour clips in your chosen order. The precise way to load multiple files, set transitions, or insert a holding slide varies by encoder. YouTube’s connection guide does not provide a universal clip-playlist control or guarantee automatic transitions, so consult the current documentation for the encoder you select.

Start the encoder’s feed. In Live Control Room, wait until YouTube shows the incoming preview, check the picture and sound, and then select Go live.

When the final tour is finished, end the broadcast in YouTube. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived; do not rely on that automatic archive behavior for a longer stream. See YouTube’s encoder setup guide.

Check channel eligibility before the event
YouTube’s live-streaming help says the channel must be verified, must not have had live-stream restrictions in the preceding 90 days, and the person streaming must be at least 16 years old. Review YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance before scheduling, since platform requirements can change.

Choose an encoder that fits a property-tour rundown
No specific encoder’s clip-sequencing features are established here, so verify the functions you need in the encoder’s own current documentation before building the event around them. Check whether it can:

Play several prerecorded files sequentially without requiring manual intervention between tours.

Transition cleanly between clips and display a holding slide while you prepare or recover.

Maintain a stable output at the resolution and frame rate you intend to use.

Troubleshoot common setup problems

Your playlist is not playing on the live broadcast: the YouTube playlist organizes videos but is not documented as the encoder’s live feed. Configure the encoder to present the files in sequence.

YouTube shows no preview: confirm the encoder is sending a feed and that its stream URL and key match the stream open in Live Control Room. Wait for the preview before selecting Go live.

A tour does not advance: check the encoder’s file order and playback settings, and confirm the next file is available and supported. The exact controls depend on the encoder.

You cannot start a live stream: check channel verification, the channel’s live-stream restriction status, and the age requirement in YouTube’s eligibility guidance.
