Put your Bose headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode, then open Bluetooth settings on your phone, tablet, computer, or TV and select the headphones. The button sequence and voice prompt depend on the model, so identify your exact headphones before you start.
How do I pair my Bose headphones?
For most Bose noise cancelling headphones, pairing has two parts: make the headphones discoverable, then select them in the device’s Bluetooth menu. Bose’s app can guide setup on supported models, but direct Bluetooth pairing is also available for the QuietComfort Headphones described below.

Can I pair Bose headphones to a computer or TV?
Yes. Put the headphones into pairing mode, then open the computer or TV’s Bluetooth settings and choose the Bose headphones. Menu labels differ between operating systems and TV manufacturers; consult the device’s Bluetooth or audio settings, or its manual, if you cannot find the option.
Bose provides platform-specific instructions for QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) for Windows 10 and Windows 11, macOS 10.9.2 or newer, Chromebook, and mobile devices. On Windows, if two Bose entries appear, Bose says to choose the entry with a headphone or speaker icon, not the one marked “LE.”

Remove an old or duplicate Bose entry from the source device’s Bluetooth list, then pair again. For the documented QuietComfort Headphones, Bose says to power on the headphones and hold the Power/Bluetooth switch toward the Bluetooth symbol for 15 seconds to clear the device list.
-
On Windows, choose the Bose entry with the headphone or speaker icon rather than the duplicate marked “LE.”
-
Bring the headphones and source device closer. Bose recommends staying within 33 feet (10 meters) and notes that walls, doors, appliances, and wireless devices can reduce range.

Try pairing the headphones with another Bluetooth source. Bose support says, “If your Bose Headphones can connect to another device, Bluetooth functionality is working.”
-
If the problem remains, follow the reboot or reset steps for your model. For the documented QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen), Bose says a reset resets controls and reboots the headphones but does not clear device settings; clearing the Bluetooth device list is a separate procedure.
