Order through SamsClub.com or the Sam’s Club app: choose your club or delivery address, add fresh items eligible for that option, select an available time, then review the order and any displayed fees before placing it. For curbside pickup, wait for the ready notification and check in at the club. For fresh items, pick them up on the scheduled day.
Before you shop: choose pickup or delivery
Availability depends on the selected club or delivery address. The item options, time slots, and total shown in your live cart are the practical checks for what you can order. Compare the fresh items eligible for each option, the available windows, whether you want to drive to the club or receive the order at an address, and the checkout total after any fees or membership benefits.
Sam’s Club advertises “Free Curbside Pickup” and says there is “No order minimum or fees” on its shopping services page. It also advertises same-day grocery delivery and an Express option. These offers can be subject to restrictions, so check the checkout details for your location and order rather than assuming a particular fee, benefit, or delivery speed applies everywhere.

How to order fresh groceries for curbside pickup
- Sign in and confirm your membership. If you just purchased a membership, Sam’s Club says it may take up to 24 hours for its systems to recognize your information for a first pickup order.
- Select your club before shopping. On SamsClub.com or in the app, choose the club where you plan to collect the order. Add items that show a pickup option for that club. If “Pick up in Club” is missing, the item may not be eligible or available at that location.
- Choose a pickup day and time. In the cart, verify the assigned club and quantities, then select an open slot. A disabled slot cannot be selected for a new order.
- Review and place the order. Pay online or in the app when prompted. Some age-restricted or legally regulated items may require payment at the club and photo ID.
- Wait for the ready notification, then check in. After you receive confirmation that the order is ready, drive to the selected club and park in a curbside pickup space. Check in through the app or the text flow as directed; staff bring the order to your vehicle.
- Collect fresh items on the selected day. Sam’s Club says fresh goods are available only on the day selected for pickup. Its help page says refrigerated and frozen items are kept in an appropriately temperate cooler or freezer area while awaiting arrival.
Sam’s Club’s general hold period is up to 24 hours after the requested pickup time. After that, the order may be canceled, and the club reserves the right to charge a restocking fee for a late or missed pickup. See Curbside Pickup Purchases for the service instructions.

How to order fresh groceries for delivery
- Shop for delivery-eligible items. Choose your delivery address and look for items marked as available for delivery. The assortment depends on the address.
- Select the delivery method at checkout. Choose “Delivery from Club” and confirm the address where you want the groceries delivered.
- Pick an available time window. Choose from the slots shown for your location. Same-day or Express service depends on local availability and open slots.
- Check the total and place the order. Review any delivery or Express charge displayed in the cart, then submit the order.
Sam’s Club’s same-day and 1-hour Express grocery delivery page describes the service, but the available items, timing, eligibility, and current price should be confirmed in the live checkout.
What delivery timing looks like in practice
Scheduling details can be local rather than national. For example, Sam’s Club’s Philadelphia grocery page describes same-day and next-day delivery, windows from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a 1 p.m. same-day ordering cutoff. Those are Philadelphia-specific service details, not a guaranteed schedule or cutoff for other clubs. Use the time windows shown after entering your own address.

If an item or time slot is unavailable
- No pickup label: Check whether the selected club is correct. The item may not be stocked there or may not be eligible for pickup.
- No delivery option: Confirm the address and check whether another item or fulfillment option is available; delivery assortment varies by location.
- Slot is disabled or absent: Select from the open times displayed. Do not assume a same-day slot or cutoff based on another city’s page.
- First pickup after joining: If your membership was purchased recently, allow up to 24 hours for Sam’s Club systems to recognize your information.
