To open a Deluxe Pack in NBA 2K26 MyTEAM, find it in the game’s pack inventory or unopened-packs area and follow the prompts shown on screen. Then check the player card you received in your collection and use the current lineup editor or mode roster controls to select it. The exact menu labels and controls can vary by platform and game build, so follow the labels displayed in your copy of the game.
How to open a Deluxe Pack
- Enter MyTEAM. You need an internet connection to use MyTEAM online features.
- Open the pack inventory or unopened-packs area. Locate the Deluxe Pack you already own; its exact menu route has not been confirmed across NBA 2K26 platforms and builds.
- Select the pack and follow the on-screen open prompts. Review the pack’s description before opening so you understand what it offers.
- Check the results. Look for any player cards among the revealed items, then inspect your collection or lineup editor to select a card for a lineup or mode.
A 2K support article notes that a Locker Code reward may not be awarded until its pack is opened. That is useful context for reward packs, but it does not establish the specific menu route for every NBA 2K26 Deluxe Pack.

How to put a pulled player into a lineup
MyTEAM is built around player cards, and NBA 2K26 supports NBA and WNBA cards together. After opening the pack, find the player in your collection, then use the game’s lineup editor or a mode’s roster selection screen to add or select that card. The exact current edit controls and labels are not confirmed here; use the prompts shown in your version rather than relying on a button sequence for another platform or build.

Check pack odds before spending currency
Before buying a pack, read its description and open the in-game More Info panel to see the offer’s odds. 2K says all gamers have the same drop rates for a given pack, and each pack is generated independently when purchased. A Deluxe label alone does not establish that a particular player is guaranteed; treat a player as guaranteed only when that offer explicitly says so.
According to 2K, a pack’s outcome is determined at purchase, and disconnecting or crashing while opening it does not change the contents. This is the publisher’s explanation of pack behavior, not an independently verified test. Do not assume repeated purchases improve the chance of a desired card: 2K says odds remain consistent from pack to pack and are not changed by payment method, account history, or activity.

NBA 2K26 includes optional in-game purchases and paid random items. You do not need to buy another pack just to open one you have already earned.
What to do with a duplicate player
If you receive a duplicate, compare selling it for MyTEAM Points (MTP) with submitting it to an eligible Exchange. Selling gives MTP; an Exchange may offer a different reward, but the card must qualify for that specific exchange. Read the exchange requirements and final confirmation carefully: once a card is submitted, the action cannot be undone, even if you do not complete the exchange.

Which currency can buy MyTEAM packs?
MTP can be spent on Player Cards, packs, and certain card boxes. VC can also be used for MyTEAM packs. MTP is specific to MyTEAM, and 2K’s support guidance says an internet connection is required to accrue VC or MTP. Check the exact currency cost and contents shown in each offer before spending.
If the player card is missing
First check the pack results and your collection, then re-enter the relevant MyTEAM screen and look again. The official guidance reviewed here does not establish a universal fix for missing pack contents. A 2K support tip about refreshing or re-entering applies to event duplicates that do not immediately appear in the Exchange; it should not be treated as a guaranteed fix for every missing card.
