To monitor an Indian government tender with Fluxguard, add the official tender listing or detail-page URL, let Fluxguard complete an initial crawl, confirm it captured the intended content, and then enable monitoring and alerts. Track the relevant issuing portal—not just a general homepage—and verify every important alert against the live official notice and its documents. Scheduled monitoring can miss changes between crawls, and CAPTCHA-gated or interactive pages may not be captured reliably.
1. Find the official page that publishes the tender
Start with the issuing organization, its jurisdiction, and the tender ID or subject you need to follow. The Government of India’s ePublishing System says the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) facilitates publication of central government tender enquiries, corrigenda, and contract-award details. Its navigation includes active tenders, tenders by closing date, corrigenda, and bid awards.
There is no single page that necessarily covers every opportunity. Government ePublishing lists separate central-government, PSU/other, and state/UT procurement sites. GeM active bids are also available through a distinct search route. Follow the route used by the issuing organization and confirm that it leads to the official notice.

Search before you monitor
CPPP tender search provides fields such as organisation, product category, location, and keyword. Its page says a keyword can match a tender ID, title, reference number, or description. Use those fields to locate the notice, then save the most specific stable URL available.

Prefer a tender detail page or a relevant active-tender or corrigendum listing over a general portal homepage. If you monitor a search-results URL, check that it preserves the same search parameters on later visits; a URL that changes or drops its filters may return different results. The CPPP GeM active-bids route advises users to consult the respective portal for details and clarifications.
Some official pages hand off to another official listing. For example, NICSI identifies its CPPP tender listing as hosted on the eProcure portal. Follow such links to the issuing or authoritative listing rather than assuming the page that points to it contains the full notice.
2. Establish and check a Fluxguard baseline

- Add the URL: In the Fluxguard dashboard, add the official tender listing or detail-page URL you identified.
- Wait for the first crawl: Let Fluxguard capture the page so there is a baseline to compare with later crawls.
- Inspect the session: Review the Session View and make sure the captured content identifies the expected organization or tender. If it shows a CAPTCHA, generic error, blank page, or unrelated content, it is not a useful baseline for monitoring the notice.
- Monitor relevant linked pages: Where they are exposed and appropriate to monitor, add specific pages such as the tender detail, corrigendum listing, or document index. Fluxguard’s tutorial describes enabling monitoring for relevant discovered URLs.
- Recheck the target: After monitoring is enabled, confirm that the pages being watched still display the intended tender information.
A successful page load in a browser does not establish that Fluxguard can capture every portal workflow. The eProcurement active-tenders page reviewed for this guide asks users to complete a CAPTCHA before listing tenders. Do not try to evade a CAPTCHA or other access control; use the portal’s permitted access route and confirm that Fluxguard captured usable page content.
3. Choose a change signal that fits the notice
Fluxguard says its default primary change strategy is extracted text visible to end users. Its tutorial describes this as looking for changes to text content people see on the page. Other comparison views can help investigate a detected change; available types described in Fluxguard documentation include rendered HTML, screenshot/visual, network activity, headers, cookies, and extracted entities.

4. Narrow the page scope without hiding important changes
Fluxguard documents page filters and tools for ignoring irrelevant areas, as well as network blocks and transforms in its console tutorial. Its click tutorial describes configuring actions such as clicks or form submissions before capture when they expose page content; it also notes that a click may be unnecessary when the content is already present.
Focus monitoring on the tender content and identifiers that matter. Review several subsequent crawls to see whether navigation, timestamps, rotating banners, or other page elements produce noise. Adjust filters only after checking what they exclude: an overly broad filter can suppress a material change to a deadline or requirement. Filtering can reduce irrelevant alerts, but it does not guarantee that every alert is meaningful.
5. Set crawl timing and alerts
Fluxguard’s visual-monitoring tutorial describes starting session crawls manually or scheduling crawls, adjusting email alert frequency, and using webhooks for notifications. Choose a schedule and alert route that suit how quickly you need to respond, then confirm that notifications arrive and link back to the page you intend to review.
A scheduled crawl is a snapshot at its run time, not continuous observation; a change that appears and disappears between crawls may not be captured. No single interval is established as sufficient for every bid. For a high-impact opportunity or one near its closing date, continue checking the issuing authority’s live notice and bid documents directly.

The ePublishing page observed for this guide says its latest corrigendum updates refresh every 15 minutes. That is a statement about that portal display, not a Fluxguard crawl interval and not a refresh guarantee for other government pages.

When an alert appears, open the official page and compare the actual notice and attached documents with the version you previously reviewed. Check whether a change affects eligibility, scope, submission requirements, deadlines, or tender status. Treat Fluxguard as a change-monitoring aid: an alert is not an official government notification, and it does not replace confirmation on the issuing portal.
7. Troubleshoot common monitoring problems
