You can monitor a Zepto grocery listing by saving a screenshot at set times and keeping a dated log. This is a personal record of what appeared on your screen—not a guaranteed quote, complete price history, or Zepto price-alert service. What a scheduled screenshot can—and cannot—tell you
A screenshot preserves an observation at a particular time: the product listing, its displayed price and any visible offer or availability information. It cannot establish what the price was between captures or guarantee that the same listing will remain available. Prices and listings may depend on the delivery location and account context; the sources reviewed do not establish that they are identical everywhere.
Zepto’s consumer app listing describes shopping, live order tracking and daily deals, while its public storefront displays listings and prices. Neither reviewed consumer source documents a scheduled screenshot feature or a consumer price-history tool. That is a limit of the materials reviewed, not proof that no such feature exists anywhere. Set up a useful price log
- Choose one exact listing. Record the brand, product variant and pack size. A different size or variant is not a like-for-like price observation.
- Keep the context steady. Use the same delivery location and account context for each capture where possible. The sources do not establish whether Zepto listings and prices are the same across locations.
- Pick observation times. Choose a schedule you can maintain, such as once a day or at specific times during a promotion. This is your own reminder-based workflow, not a Zepto feature. The reviewed sources do not establish a device-specific automation method or whether automated access is permitted.
- Capture the product screen. Include the full listing where possible so the product identity, size, displayed price, discount or crossed-out price, and availability can be checked later.
- Save each capture with its observation time. Use a dated folder or a log. For each screenshot, note the date and time, product name and size, displayed price, any displayed offer or crossed-out price, availability, and the delivery location/account context used.
- Compare only matching observations. Treat a different pack, variant, promotion, location or unavailable listing as a distinct observation rather than evidence of a like-for-like price change.

Choose between a manual log and a third-party tracker

Troubleshooting your log
- The price seems to have changed unexpectedly: First check that you captured the same brand, variant, pack size, location and account context. Zepto says prices may vary and may be modified over time, so verify the live listing before ordering. Zepto consumer terms
- A listing is missing or unavailable: Record it as unavailable at that observation time rather than treating it as a price of zero or comparing it as though the same item were purchasable.
- A screenshot is hard to compare: Keep the complete product details and visible offer information in frame, and add the observation time and context to the log.
- A third-party tracker claims Zepto support: Confirm its current compatibility, location coverage, capture cadence, retention/export options, cost and permission basis directly with the provider. The public project cited above does not settle those questions. Public Zepto price-tracker project
