To spot new openings, monitor the employer’s official careers page on a schedule, focus the monitor on the job-listing area where possible, and review before-and-after screenshots when it sends an alert. Treat an alert as a lead, not proof that a role is still open: confirm the listing and application details on the employer’s own page.
Choose the right careers page to monitor
Start with the company’s official careers site and find the page that actually displays job results. Some employers put openings on a separate job-board URL or show them only after you select a location, department, or other filter. Monitor the results page that reflects the roles you care about, rather than a general careers landing page that may not list vacancies.
The steps below are general: no particular Indian employer’s page was examined, so the correct URL, selector, and settings depend on the site you choose.

Set up a monitor and focus it on listings
- Copy the listing-page URL. Open the official page with the relevant jobs visible and copy its address. Visualping’s setup guide describes creating a monitor from a URL: https://visualping.io/how-it-works.
- Select the jobs region if available. Choose the visible listings or their containing section instead of the full page when the monitor can isolate that area reliably. If selection is unreliable, begin with the whole page and refine it after reviewing alerts.
- Set a check schedule. Choose an interval offered by the service that suits how often you want to look for changes. There is no universally best interval established for every employer site; use the available settings and adjust based on the page and your needs.
- Choose what counts as an alert. Visualping describes an any-change option as well as criteria for focusing alerts. Any-change monitoring is useful if you do not want to filter changes out; criteria may cut noise, but can also make it easier to miss a change that does not meet them. - Pick where the monitor runs. A cloud monitor can keep checking while your computer is off. In Visualping’s documented setup, a local Chrome-extension monitor requires Chrome to remain open. - Save the monitor and review its first results. Confirm that the screenshot actually contains the job list. If the page changes unrelated elements frequently, narrow the selected region if possible; if the listings are missed, try a broader area or the specific results URL.
Read screenshot alerts and verify openings

- Open the alert and inspect both the current screenshot and the comparison view.
- Look for a new job title or a changed listing, then open the employer’s official posting directly.
- Confirm the location, role requirements, posting state, and application link on that original listing before acting. The screenshot identifies a possible change; it does not establish that the job is still open or suitable for you.
Reduce noise and handle page complications
- Unrelated visual changes: Page banners, rotating content, or other dynamic elements can trigger alerts. Select a smaller jobs region where possible, or use alert criteria if offered; review early alerts before tightening filters too far.
- Listings require a filter or tab: Configure the page to show the relevant results before copying the URL. If the selection is not preserved or the page needs interaction, the monitor must be able to reach that state; behavior varies by site and service.
- Jobs appear on a separate board: Monitor the actual results page or relevant board URL rather than relying only on the employer’s general careers page.
- CAPTCHA or access restriction: Do not try to bypass protective systems. Visualping says it does not attempt to solve CAPTCHAs or circumvent such systems; see its product and access information. Follow both the site’s access policies and your monitoring service’s rules.
- Missed or unhelpful alerts: Compare the captured region with the live page, then adjust the selection or monitor the relevant listing URL separately. Test changes on the actual target page rather than assuming one configuration works for every careers site.

Troubleshooting
- The screenshot shows no jobs: Check that the URL opens the results view in a normal browser and that any necessary filters or tabs are selected. Try monitoring the specific results URL or a larger page region.
- Alerts arrive for changes outside the listings: Narrow the monitored area if the service supports it, or choose criteria that better match relevant changes.
- No alerts arrive: Review the saved URL, schedule, notification settings, and whether the monitor is running in a mode that requires your browser to stay open.
- The page blocks capture: Respect the access restriction rather than attempting to defeat a CAPTCHA or other control. A public page may not be capturable in every configuration.
- An alert points to a vanished job: Open the employer’s current listing and check its status. A monitor reports observed page changes, not guaranteed availability.
