To watch an Amazon.in item with ChangeTower, create a monitor for its individual product listing, focus the monitor on the price, then choose a check frequency and whether to receive email alerts. This can reduce repeated manual checking, but Amazon pages may resist automated monitoring, so an alert is not guaranteed for every listing or necessarily the final checkout price.
Set up a ChangeTower monitor for an Amazon.in listing
- Copy the product URL. Open the specific Amazon.in product listing you want to track and copy its address. ChangeTower recommends monitoring a product, listing, or pricing page rather than a store homepage or search-results page. See ChangeTower’s price and product monitoring guide.
- Create a single-page monitor. In ChangeTower, choose New Monitor and set up a monitor for that URL.
- Choose what counts as a change. Use Specific Elements to focus on the price area, or choose Smart Monitor and describe the event in plain language, such as “Notify me when the price drops.” A price-focused monitor can avoid notifications about unrelated page changes.
- Set the check frequency and alerts. Choose how often ChangeTower should check and whether to receive email alerts. Create the monitor, then review detected changes on the Notifications page.
Choose a setup that fits your tracking
One product or several
The guide supports monitoring multiple URLs as well as a single listing. For a single item, a focused single-page monitor keeps the setup simple. If tracking several products, add their individual listing URLs rather than relying on a broad search-results page.
Specific Elements or Smart Monitor
- Specific Elements: select the part of the page that displays the price when you want to focus on a visible page region.
- Smart Monitor: describe the change you care about in natural language, such as a price drop.
ChangeTower documents both approaches, but its guidance does not establish that either will detect every Amazon.in price change on every listing.

Set a cadence that suits how quickly you need to notice changes, and enable email if you want alerts sent to your inbox. ChangeTower advertises checks as often as every five minutes on its price-monitoring page; that is a vendor-stated maximum capability, not evidence that the cadence is available on every plan or reliable for every Amazon.in page.

Use the browser extension as an alternate setup route
If the product page is already open in a Chromium browser, ChangeTower’s browser extension can create a monitor for the current page. You need to sign in to ChangeTower, and monitors created through the extension count toward your plan’s page limit. The setup and plan-limit detail is in ChangeTower’s extension guide.
Understand reliability limits on e-commerce pages
ChangeTower cautions that e-commerce sites may use preventative protocols against systematic monitoring and recommends limiting crawl frequency where possible. Its guidance also suggests focusing on the relevant price subsection to reduce unrelated change notifications; see its e-commerce monitoring advice.
