To monitor an Amazon.in price with Wachete, create a monitor for the exact product page, select the displayed price in Wachete’s preview, and set a check interval and alert rule. Wachete describes this as a general product-page workflow, not an Amazon.in-specific guarantee, so confirm that the preview loads the intended listing and price before relying on alerts.
Set up an Amazon.in price monitor in Wachete
- Open the exact listing. Go to the Amazon.in product-detail page for the item and copy its URL. Check that it is the variant you want to follow; listings can show different offers or conditions.
- Create a single-page monitor. In Wachete, choose the single-page monitor option and enter the product URL. Wachete describes the single-page setup in its FAQ.
- Select the price. Wait for Wachete’s page preview and select the displayed price value. Monitoring just the price is more focused than tracking the whole page. Confirm the selected value is the offer you mean to watch.
- Set the check interval. Choose an interval offered by your plan. Wachete’s price-monitoring guide says the free plan checks once a day; paid plans can check as often as every few minutes.
- Configure the alert. Choose an alert for any value change, a price below your target, or a price above a chosen amount. Select an available notification method, such as email, phone notification, or a supported chat channel, and ensure notifications are enabled.
- Review the saved monitor. Check its selected value and recent history. If the preview shows a challenge, an unavailable page, or the wrong price, do not assume the monitor is following the intended listing.
Wachete checks pages on its servers, so your computer or phone does not need to stay on. Its FAQ also describes notifications for page changes and settings for ignoring error notifications.
Choose an interval and alert that fit your goal
Wachete’s published cadence is plan-dependent: its guide says, “As often as every few minutes on a paid plan, or once a day on the free plan.” That is a check frequency, not a promise that an alert arrives immediately after Amazon changes a price. A threshold rule, such as alerting only below your target, can avoid notifications for price movements you do not care about. Wachete says alerts can be delivered by email, phone notification, or chat; availability may depend on the notification option and account settings.
Check Amazon’s built-in price history for past prices
If you only want to see historical prices rather than receive future alerts, Amazon has a price-history feature available to customers in India, according to Amazon’s instructions. On a product-detail page, use the price-history link beside the price, or use the Alexa for Shopping icon in the Amazon Shopping app or desktop site and ask about the item’s price history. Amazon’s article describes 30-, 90-, and 365-day views, but says 365-day insights were rolling out to India, the U.S., and the UK; check the particular listing for current availability.

Amazon reports that more than 50 million customers had used the feature and that customers check price history an average of three times a month. These are figures Amazon reported in its 2026 article, not independently verified usage statistics. Amazon also says price history is available to customers in India, among other countries.

Troubleshoot a monitor that does not show the right price
- The preview is blocked, blank, or unavailable: the page did not load into a usable preview. Retry later and verify the listing directly in a browser before trusting the monitor.
- The selected value is not the price you intend: edit the monitor and select the displayed price again. Confirm the product variant and offer on Amazon.in.
- No alert arrives: check the chosen rule, notification method, and whether notifications are enabled. Also account for the interval: a daily check cannot report a change between checks as quickly as a paid plan’s more frequent schedule.
- You receive too many alerts: change the rule from any change to a below-target or above-target threshold if that matches what you are watching for.
- Error notifications are distracting: Wachete’s FAQ describes settings for ignoring error notifications; review the monitor’s notification configuration.
