Set up a Hindi website monitor

Choose what counts as a change
Fluxguard says extracted text is the default primary detection strategy: it looks for changes to text viewable by end users. Its FAQ and tutorial describe other comparisons—including HTML, screenshots, network activity, headers, cookies, and extracted entities—as options that can be applied after a primary change records a new version. - Ignore only regions that are reliably irrelevant, such as a rotating ad or a timestamp, rather than broad containers that may also hold page copy.
- Test each filter against the Hindi text you need to track; a selector that removes navigation or dynamic content can accidentally remove the content of interest.
- Use network blocks only when you understand which requests they affect, then confirm the capture still includes the material page content.
- Adjust one filter at a time and compare another crawl so you can tell whether it reduced noise without suppressing meaningful changes.

The capture does not show the expected Hindi text
Check the extracted-text artifact from the baseline, then inspect a later capture after a known text change. The reviewed public language statement does not explicitly establish Hindi or Devanagari extraction, so confirm behavior on the actual page rather than assuming support. If the text is not captured consistently, another comparison type may reveal page changes, but it is not a substitute for verified Hindi text alerts.

Changes appear, but the alerts are too noisy
Find the changing region or request responsible, then test a selector ignore, filter, transform, or network block. Fluxguard supports filters at account, session, and page levels; keep the scope as narrow as practical and verify that the Hindi content remains included.
A crawl does not run as often as expected
Check the schedule options currently shown in the account.
