To monitor a public bank or university notice page with Sken.io, enter the page URL, select the notice area, choose a comparison mode, set a check interval, and enable an alert channel. Use Content comparison for changes to notice text, dates, or links; use Visual comparison when the change you care about is how the page looks. Treat every alert as a prompt to verify the notice on the institution’s official site.
Set up a Sken.io monitor for a public notice page
- Open the official notice page and copy its URL. Choose the public page that lists announcements, recruitment notices, exam updates, tenders, or other information you want to follow. Sken.io describes a workflow that does not require installing anything on the monitored website. Sken.io
- Create a monitor with that URL. Sken.io loads the page on a schedule and compares the selected area with an earlier capture.
- Select the relevant area. Choose the notice list or announcement region. Include the heading, date, and link so that meaningful updates are less likely to be missed, while excluding unrelated parts of the page where possible.
- Choose Content or Visual comparison. The right mode depends on what counts as a meaningful update; see the next section.
- Set an interval and choose an alert channel. Pick a cadence that fits how quickly you need to know and the plan’s monthly check allowance. Enable a channel you actually monitor.
- Review the first capture and subsequent alerts. Make sure the selected area represents the notice information you meant to track. When an alert arrives, open the institution’s original page and confirm the details there.
Choose a comparison mode and reduce noise
Use Content for notice wording and dates
Content comparison is generally the better fit when the signal is a new notice, an edited heading, a changed date, or a changed link. It helps avoid treating purely stylistic changes as the main event.
Use Visual when appearance is the signal
Visual comparison is useful when a change matters because of how it is rendered, such as a newly displayed badge or a changed visual treatment. If the page’s wording matters more than its styling, Content is usually the more relevant choice.

Cookie banners, popups, chat widgets, and rotating advertisements can change independently of the notice list. Sken.io recommends removing frequently changing elements to reduce irrelevant changes. Keep the monitored area focused, and check the capture if alerts appear to be caused by overlays or other page noise.
Set a sustainable check cadence in India
The official pricing page currently advertises intervals as fast as one minute, but that does not mean checks are unlimited. Faster intervals consume a monthly allowance more quickly, especially when monitoring several pages. As of the pricing page retrieved on 2026-10-03, the listed plans and allowances are:

- Visual difference of all modifications to a website detected (diff)
- Choose exactly which part or parts of a page to watch
- Check pages even behind logins, HTTP Authentications, form posts or long navigational sequences
| Plan | Listed price | Monthly checks |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | €3/month | 500 |
| Standard | €12/month | 3,000 |
| Enterprise | €45/month | 15,000 |
| Trial | 14 days | 140 checks |
These are the figures advertised on Sken.io’s pricing page, not an India-specific price quotation. Check the current terms, billing currency, and allowance before subscribing: Sken.io pricing. To estimate usage, multiply the number of pages by the checks each page receives over the month. A one-minute schedule uses far more checks than a relaxed schedule, so reserve rapid checks for genuinely time-sensitive pages rather than applying them automatically to every notice page.
Choose alerts you will see, then verify notices at the source
Sken.io lists email, Android push, Slack, Discord, Google Chat, webhooks, Zapier, and a Chrome extension among its notification options. Choose a channel that is enabled and checked regularly; a configured alert is useful only if you see it.

A change alert means the selected page area differed from a prior capture. It is not an official publication by the bank or university and does not establish that a notice is final, current, or applicable to you. Open the institution’s own website, follow the notice link, and check its date and details before acting.
Know what this workflow can and cannot monitor
Public pages, not account or transaction screens
This guide is for public notice pages. Sken.io describes loading pages as an anonymous visitor and says multi-step sign-in pages are outside its intended workflow. Do not provide bank credentials or use this method to monitor account balances, transactions, or other authenticated information.
JavaScript-rendered notices may need a capture check
Sken.io says it can render JavaScript pages before comparison, but that vendor-described capability is not a guarantee for every website implementation. If the notice list is missing or incomplete in a capture, verify the target page and contact the provider rather than assuming the monitor can read every site correctly.
Recent snapshots are not a permanent archive
Sken.io says a monitoring task can retain up to 12 snapshots. That is limited recent comparison history, not a formal records archive. If you need to preserve notices, save the official notices separately.

Individual notice tracking is not bank operations monitoring
Monitoring a public notice list is distinct from institutional performance monitoring of banking systems. Indian Bank’s 2022 procurement document described a two-year engagement for 24×7 performance monitoring across 30 pages or URLs covering net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and its website. That historical procurement example does not establish Sken.io approval or suitability for operational monitoring of a bank’s services. Indian Bank procurement document (2022)

- The capture does not show the notice list: Confirm the URL loads the intended public page in a normal browser and inspect the captured area. If the page builds its content with JavaScript, the vendor’s stated rendering capability may not cover that site’s specific implementation; ask Sken.io for help.
- Alerts keep firing without a new notice: Check whether the selected area includes a rotating ad, popup, cookie banner, chat widget, or other frequently changing element. Narrow the selection or remove recurring distractions where possible.
- A notice changed but no useful alert arrived: Recheck that the selected region includes the notice heading, date, and link, confirm the comparison mode matches the change you care about, and verify that the chosen alert channel is enabled.
- The desired interval is unavailable or usage is high: Compare the requested cadence with the plan’s current monthly allowance and the number of pages monitored. Reduce check frequency where the response time is not essential, or verify current plan terms with Sken.io.
- The page requires a sign-in: Do not enter bank credentials into a public-page monitoring workflow. Sken.io describes multi-step sign-in pages as outside its intended use.
Or skip the browser setup
If your goal is a screenshot of a page rather than scheduled change alerts, ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request screenshot API and an MCP server for AI agents. For example, this cURL request saves a screenshot of the public notice page as WebP; replace the URL with the page you want to capture and use your API key:
ScreenshotNeo API documentation
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo removes supported cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. Its MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan.
