Before moving from Event Tickets Plus, inventory more than WooCommerce products and orders. A ticket is a product, but each issued attendee ticket has its own record, linked to the event, product, order, and order item. Custom attendee questions also have both a configured schema and submitted answers. The Events Calendar’s developer documentation describes these source records; it does not guarantee that a replacement platform will import them or preserve their relationships.
How Event Tickets Plus represents a ticket
The WooCommerce integration creates a WooCommerce product for a ticket and associates it with an event using post metadata. Product configuration is distinct from the records for people who hold tickets and the orders used to buy them. The Events Calendar documents this product-and-event relationship in its WooCommerce integration class reference and its Create Tickets handbook.
For each ticket quantity, the plugin creates an attendee record. That record can include references to the ticket product, WooCommerce order, order item, and event, along with attendee-related values such as opt-out status, security code, paid price, and currency. The developer reference for generate_tickets() describes this structure. Consequently, a product export by itself should not be treated as a complete attendee or ticket export.
What to inventory before mapping records

Custom questions have two layers
Do not inventory attendee answers without also capturing the ticket’s question configuration. The ticket’s field definitions specify how information is requested; submitted answers record what each attendee supplied. The ORM handbook documents the configuration keys _tribe_tickets_meta_enabled and _tribe_tickets_meta, while the WooCommerce metadata class reference explains how attendee metadata is stored on orders and copied to attendee records.

For orders containing several tickets, verify which answer belongs to which attendee rather than assuming one order-level value represents every ticket. Preserve the field slug and type in your mapping where possible; labels can be changed and may not uniquely identify a field.
Allow for administrative ticket moves
A ticket transfer or administrative move may leave a different record pattern from an ordinary purchase. The documented moved-ticket operation creates a child order with a zero total, carries selected customer and address information and ticket metadata, adds explanatory notes to the original and new orders, and synchronizes event capacity. When reconciling data, treat the original paid order and a later movement order as different kinds of records. Otherwise, a zero-total administrative order could be mistaken for a failed or free purchase, and a moved attendee may be counted incorrectly in financial or ticket totals.
Use a staging comparison before switching
The documentation describes how Event Tickets Plus represents source data; it does not establish that another ticketing system imports every field or relationship. Compare the source with the target system using a staging copy, and verify the records against the actual plugin versions and database in your store. The documentation pages do not establish one current release that applies to every installation.

- Record the installed versions of WooCommerce and Event Tickets Plus, and export or otherwise preserve the source data before changing the live store.
- List ticket products and their event associations, IDs, prices, SKUs, stock or capacity settings, and sale dates.
- Count attendee records and check their event, product, order, and order-item links against the corresponding records.
- Capture each ticket’s custom-question configuration, then reconcile answers at both order and attendee level.
- Identify child orders and order notes associated with ticket moves so they are not treated as ordinary purchases.
- In the destination’s staging environment, test whether each category maps correctly, whether relationships resolve, and whether event-capacity behavior matches the organizer’s needs.
Keep a reconciliation list of records that the destination cannot represent directly. The necessary remedy may depend on that system’s data model; the source documentation does not specify a universal conversion or import procedure.
