To repeat an Odia playlist while you listen, start the playlist and turn on YouTube’s playlist-specific Loop or Repeat control. That only repeats playback for you; it does not broadcast the playlist as a YouTube Live stream. For a live broadcast, you need a separate encoder or cloud playout workflow—and the rights to stream the music.
First, choose what you mean by “repeat on YouTube Live”
There are two different goals: repeat an existing playlist for personal listening, or send continuous music to a live watch page for an audience. YouTube’s playlist control does the first. A live broadcast requires a feed sent through an encoder or another supported live workflow; turning on playlist Loop in the YouTube player does not create that feed. YouTube describes an encoder as converting video into a digital format for streaming. YouTube’s playlist looping instructions and its encoder setup guide cover the separate workflows.

Repeat a playlist while listening
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist you want to hear.
- Expand the playlist panel beside the video.
- Click Loop in the playlist box. YouTube says this repeats the playlist.
To repeat only one song rather than the whole playlist, right-click the video and choose Loop. That is a separate control from playlist Loop. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists on YouTube — Computer.

- Start playing the playlist.
- Tap Loop in the Playlist control box under the video to repeat the playlist.
- If you tap again and see a 1 on the control, YouTube is set to repeat the current video instead.
For a single video, Android also has a separate Settings → Additional settings → Loop video option. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists on YouTube — Android.

On a TV or gaming console
- Select the playlist and start one of its videos.
- Press down on your remote or controller to show the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until it displays Repeat • Playlist.
That label indicates playlist repeat, rather than repeating just the current song. The documented steps are in YouTube Help’s playlist looping instructions.
On iPhone or iPad
The official instructions cited here specify computer, Android, and TV or console paths, not a precise iPhone/iPad button location. In the YouTube app, look for the playlist’s current playback controls and use its playlist repeat control if available; don’t rely on the desktop or Android button path being identical.

Broadcast a continuous music program on YouTube Live
If you want other people to watch a live channel playing music, set up a live broadcast rather than relying on the viewer’s Loop control. YouTube documents encoder-based streaming and lists software encoders such as OBS as well as standalone hardware options. The encoder sends a live feed to YouTube; the ability to repeat your authorized media depends on the playback setup you choose.

Set up the broadcast
- Confirm live streaming is enabled for your channel. YouTube says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours. This is YouTube Help’s stated operational estimate, not a guarantee that every channel will be enabled at exactly that time. See Get started with live streaming.
- Prepare media you have permission to broadcast. Choose the Odia tracks or recordings you are entitled to stream and arrange them in the order you want. Confirm that the encoder or playout tool you select can loop that media; the viewer-side YouTube playlist Loop control does not supply the encoder’s source.
- Create or configure the live stream in YouTube Studio. Follow YouTube’s current Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder instructions to set up the broadcast and connect an encoder. Use the current settings and requirements shown there and by your chosen encoder; the cited guidance does not establish one universal bitrate or resolution for every stream.
- Connect the encoder and verify the feed. Add the stream details required by YouTube to the encoder, start the feed, and check it in the live workflow before relying on it. Confirm that the program is playing and that the live broadcast is receiving the feed.
- Monitor the broadcast. Check that playback continues as expected and that YouTube has not interrupted the stream. A live feed and a viewer’s playlist have separate controls, so test the actual broadcast workflow rather than assuming playlist repeat is working on the live page.
Clear music rights before going live
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it identifies a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator; if the content remains, the broadcast may be temporarily interrupted or terminated. For licensed third-party content, YouTube says to ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A license alone may not prevent an interruption if the channel is not allowlisted. Crediting an artist or owning a copy of a song is not, by itself, proof that you have live-streaming rights.
