Create and order the playlist for customers to browse; if you want a live presentation, schedule a separate stream in YouTube Studio and send it from a webcam, mobile device, or encoder. For product features during an eligible live stream, use YouTube Shopping’s separate product-tag controls.
Choose between a promo playlist and a live broadcast

YouTube’s documented playlist and live-stream workflows are separate. Its playlist instructions explain how to order videos, while its live-stream instructions explain how to create or schedule a broadcast; they do not describe playlist ordering as automatic live video rotation. If you need prerecorded promos to play continuously as one live feed, you need a separately configured broadcast or automation workflow.
Create and order the promo playlist

Create a playlist
In YouTube, create a playlist from an existing promo video using the video’s save-to-playlist option, or start from the Playlists area. Add the store’s approved promo videos to the new playlist. YouTube’s current playlist help covers both creating and managing playlists: Create and manage playlists.

Give it a useful title and description
Name it so customers can identify the store and the promotions at a glance. Use the description to clarify what the clips cover and, if relevant, whether an offer has an expiration date. Do not imply that the playlist itself is a live broadcast.

Set the playlist’s visibility
Choose the privacy setting that matches how you plan to distribute it. Make the playlist public if customers should be able to discover it; use a less-public setting if you intend to share it only with a defined audience. Copy the playlist URL for store communications when appropriate.

Arrange the videos

Review the customer experience
Check that the title, description, visibility, video order, and individual video availability are right before sharing the link. Use descriptive clip titles so viewers can understand the sequence. YouTube documents ordering playlist entries, but does not establish an unattended playback setting, a scheduled rotation interval, or continuous live playback from a playlist.
Schedule a separate YouTube Live stream
If the store wants a live event rather than a browsable collection, create a broadcast separately. YouTube documents live streaming from a webcam, mobile device, or encoder. An encoder is useful when you need screen sharing, external audio/video gear, or more advanced production controls; a webcam or mobile workflow is a simpler option when a person or live view of merchandise is the main content. Schedule the stream in YouTube Studio
Open YouTube Studio and choose Create → Go live → Manage, then schedule a stream. YouTube says scheduling a stream lets you promote it. Live-stream guidance

Share the event page
Use the scheduled stream’s shareable URL in store communications. Viewers can visit the page and set a reminder. This promotes the live event; it does not turn the promo playlist into the broadcast feed.

Connect the chosen live method
For an encoder broadcast, copy the stream URL and stream key provided by YouTube into the encoder, start sending the signal, then use Live Control Room to start the broadcast. Keep the stream key private: anyone with access to it may be able to send video to that stream. For webcam or mobile streaming, follow the corresponding on-screen setup in YouTube’s live workflow.

Confirm the live presentation
Before promoting the event, verify that the scheduled page, stream feed, audio, and any on-screen offer details are correct. If the content is prerecorded promo footage, treat its use in a live broadcast as a separate production setup—not as a playlist feature.

For a live shopping presentation, YouTube Shopping offers product tagging and ordering controls distinct from playlist video order. YouTube Help states that creators can arrange up to 30 products for a live stream. Keep the videos and offers ready for customers
- Use only promo videos the store has permission to publish, including their music, images, logos, and other included material.
- Make time-limited offers and eligibility terms easy to read in the video or description, and remove or update expired promotions.
- Test the public playlist or scheduled event link from a viewer’s perspective before distributing it.
- Do not promise a fixed live rotation cadence based on playlist order; the cited playlist guidance establishes ordering, not automatic live playback.
