- Choose where your records will live. Start with Softr’s built-in data option or connect a source it supports. Check the cost and fit in India

Troubleshooting before launch
- An entry does not appear: check that the record exists in the connected source and that the listing is using the intended data source or fields.
- A filter returns unexpected results: inspect the category values for spelling differences, blank fields or inconsistent labels; standardize the records and test again.
- A thumbnail is missing or cropped badly: confirm the image is available to the builder, review its actual dimensions and adjust the crop or use a consistently proportioned replacement. Check any platform-specific image limits.
- A destination link fails: open the URL directly, correct typos or outdated redirects, and retest it from the published page.
- The site cannot be published on the intended domain: review the selected plan’s current publishing and custom-domain requirements, then confirm them in the platform account before paying.
- The India checkout total is unclear: rely on the current checkout for your account location, not a USD list price converted informally. Confirm the displayed currency, taxes and accepted payment method before purchase.
Keep the directory maintainable
Set a simple editorial rule for accepting submissions or adding sites: every record should have a working destination, a clear category, a concise description and a usable thumbnail.
