You can broadcast a prerecorded Tamil product demo as a YouTube Live stream by sending it through an encoder, and repeat it if your playback setup supports looping. Create or schedule the event in YouTube Studio, connect the encoder with its stream URL and key, check the preview, then start the broadcast. “Live” describes how YouTube delivers the video; it does not mean the demo is happening in real time or that a host is interacting with viewers.
Before you begin
- Enable live streaming: Check that live streaming is available for your channel before planning the event. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains the process.
- Finish the demo: Review Tamil narration, product details, audio levels, aspect ratio, and any captions you have prepared. Tamil is a content choice; the documented encoder workflow does not establish Tamil-specific Studio controls or caption requirements.
- Check rights and claims: Make sure you have permission to use the demo’s video, music, images, and other footage. Do not assume that calling a promotional video a live stream changes the rights that apply to its contents. The sources cited here do not settle the policy treatment of a particular product claim, third-party asset, or monetization decision, so check YouTube’s applicable current policies for your situation.
- Choose how to send the video: YouTube’s encoder path accepts a feed from software or dedicated hardware. To repeat prerecorded media, the selected playback or streaming setup must support looping.
Choose a looping setup
The right option depends on whether you want hands-on control or unattended playback, and whether you can keep equipment and a stable internet connection running. YouTube’s overview names cloud streaming and a hardware option with prerecorded scheduling, but it does not provide click-by-click loop instructions for a particular local software encoder.

Prepare the YouTube Live event
- Open YouTube Studio: Select Create, then Go live. Use the Stream tab for an immediate broadcast, or open Manage and choose Schedule Stream for a future event. Labels may vary if YouTube changes its interface.
- Set the event details: Enter a clear title and choose visibility and other available settings. Tell viewers that the demo is prerecorded if that might otherwise be unclear, and do not imply that a host is present when there is no one to respond.
- Get the connection details: In the live setup, locate the stream URL and stream key. If your encoder offers direct YouTube integration, you can select it instead. Otherwise, paste the URL into the encoder’s server field and the key into its stream-key field. Treat the key as sensitive account access information: do not show it in screenshots or share it publicly.

Configure the prerecorded loop and test it
- Load the finished demo into the playback or streaming setup you selected.
- Enable repeat playback in that setup, or configure the cloud or hardware service to repeat the file. The precise controls depend on the product; YouTube’s general encoder guide does not document a specific local software loop configuration.
- Check the transition: Watch the end of the video roll into the beginning. Confirm that the audio does not cut out unexpectedly, the image keeps its intended aspect ratio, and the encoder is sending a stable feed.
- Send the encoder feed: Start streaming from the encoder. For a scheduled event, wait for its preview in YouTube Live Control Room before selecting Go live.
- Monitor the broadcast: Check stream-health indicators and the picture and sound. If you plan to use chat, arrange for someone to monitor it; a prerecorded loop alone does not provide live interaction.
YouTube’s bandwidth guidance for streaming across platforms recommends upload capacity of 1.5 to 2 times the combined target bitrate in that simulstreaming context. That margin is not a universal minimum for a single YouTube stream. See YouTube’s simulstreaming guidance.

End the stream and understand archiving
When the event is finished, stop the encoder feed and end the event deliberately. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume a longer broadcast will be archived the same way. See YouTube’s encoder guide.
