To repeat a regional-language playlist while watching on a computer, open a video in the playlist, expand the playlist panel, and select Loop in the playlist box. On Android, start a video in the playlist and tap Loop in the playlist control box. These controls repeat playback for you; they do not create a YouTube Live broadcast. If you mean broadcasting playlist music as a live stream, that is a separate setup—and you need the necessary rights to stream every track.
First, decide whether you want to watch on repeat or broadcast live
“Loop a playlist on YouTube Live” can describe two different goals. If you want a playlist to keep playing for you, use YouTube’s playlist Loop control. If you want viewers to hear playlist music in a live broadcast, the Loop control is not the way to do that: YouTube’s reviewed instructions describe playlist playback and live streaming as separate features and do not document a native playlist-to-Live workflow.
- Repeat playback: The playlist plays again for you when it reaches the end. This does not start a public live stream.
- Broadcast music live: You need a live-streaming workflow, such as YouTube’s mobile, webcam, encoder, or console options, and you must resolve rights for the music before streaming.
How to loop a playlist while watching
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist you want to repeat.
- Expand the playlist panel so its controls are visible.
- Select Loop in the playlist box. YouTube will repeat the playlist for playback.
On Android
- Start a video from the playlist.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box to repeat the playlist.
- If you want to repeat only the current video instead, tap Loop again to select the one-video repeat state.
Repeating the current video and repeating the full playlist are separate settings. Check which repeat state is selected if playback does not behave as you expect.
How to broadcast regional-language music as a live stream
The playlist Loop button does not send playlist playback to a live broadcast. YouTube describes mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as live-streaming methods, but the reviewed instructions do not establish a way to feed a YouTube playlist directly into a live stream. Choose a method based on the device and production workflow you intend to use; the available guidance does not support ranking these methods for Indian creators.

- Computer webcam: YouTube’s webcam instructions require a webcam. That is a requirement for this particular route, not for looping a playlist while watching.
- Encoder: A separate live-streaming method described by YouTube. The reviewed information does not provide the settings needed to broadcast a looping playlist through it.
- Console: Another live-streaming method described by YouTube; the reviewed information does not establish it as a playlist-broadcast workflow.
Before starting any live method, make sure the material you intend to broadcast is cleared for that use. A public YouTube playlist is not proof that its tracks may be rebroadcast.
Check music rights before going live
YouTube says live streams are scanned for third-party content. If copyrighted material remains after a warning, a stream may be interrupted or terminated. A licence does not necessarily prevent a match from disrupting a live stream: YouTube says the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Territory restrictions alone do not ensure that the stream will continue.

YouTube’s live-stream terms put responsibility on the content provider to have the necessary rights, including music licensing rights, and to meet applicable requirements in the territory where the stream is available. The reviewed information does not determine whether any particular regional-language song is cleared for live use in India. Confirm the rights for each track and the intended use with the relevant rights holders before broadcasting.
YouTube’s Creator Music guidance says its tracks are for long-form videos and cannot be used in live streams. It describes Creator Music as available to U.S. creators in the YouTube Partner Program, with expansion to YPP creators outside the U.S. pending. It is not a route to clear a live playlist for an Indian channel.
