To link your EA Account to the FC Companion App, download the official iOS or Android app and sign in with the EA Account you already use to play FC 27. When your Ultimate Team Club and Squad load, you’re signed in to the account associated with that club. If they don’t appear, check which EA Account and platform account are connected before unlinking anything.
Sign in to the EA Account you use for FC
- Confirm the EA Account. Use the account associated with your FC game on console or PC. If you’re unsure which email or account you used, recover or locate that account before creating or connecting another one.
- Install the official app. Download the FC Companion App from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in. Enter the credentials for the EA Account you use to play FC.
- Check the club. Your Ultimate Team Club and Squad should load. EA identifies that as the sign that you’re logged in to the expected account (EA SPORTS FC 27 Web and Companion Apps guide).
In most cases, “linking” means signing in with the existing EA Account and making sure the right platform account is connected to it; there is no separate linking device or tool. To review connected platforms, sign in to EA Account settings and open Connected Accounts. EA says connected Nintendo Accounts do not appear in that tab. If the wrong club loads or you can’t sign in
First determine whether the problem is the EA login, the platform connection, or the app itself. These issues have different remedies.

- Confirm that you signed in with the EA Account used to play FC on your platform.
- Check Connected Accounts in EA Account settings to see which platform account is connected.
- If you cannot access the EA Account, use EA’s account recovery guidance rather than linking the platform to a new EA Account.
Your platform account is connected to another EA Account
EA limits how often platform accounts can be switched. If the platform account was linked less than one year ago, you generally cannot unlink it and connect it to a different EA Account yet. Some platforms permit a platform account to be linked to an EA Account only once, and a platform account can be connected to only one EA Account at a time. EA recommends checking the connected-account details, recovering the existing EA Account, and resetting its password if you see an invalid or ineligible account error. You’re locked out of the EA Account
Try EA account recovery or reset the password for the existing account. If prompted, enter your two-factor authentication code. EA’s troubleshooting guidance also recommends restarting the platform and launching the game again after signing in. Contact EA Support if you still can’t access the account.
You’re considering unlinking
Do not treat unlinking as a routine fix. EA warns that unlinking the platform account currently active in the Web or Companion App can remove your access to those apps. If more than one platform account is connected, switching the active account may reduce that risk but does not eliminate it. EA advises against unlinking if you need to keep app access; read EA’s unlinking guidance before changing anything.

If you can sign in but the Transfer Market is locked
Transfer Market access is separate from being able to log in to the Companion App. EA decides eligibility based on account history and good standing; signing in successfully does not guarantee access. For FC 27, EA says some returning players may qualify based on access earned before the relevant cutoff dates. Others may need to play Ultimate Team for active days.

EA’s FC 27 guidance describes a typical wait of two active days if no other Ultimate Team accounts have been used on the device, or at least four active days if other accounts have been used; additional accounts can extend the wait. EA defines an active day as playing three full Ultimate Team matches and logging in to the Web or Companion App within the same UTC calendar day. FC 27 app availability and season-specific dates
EA’s FC 27 guide says the Web App went online on September 16, 2026, and the Companion App on September 17, 2026. EA also says that from September 17, the Web and Companion Apps are available only for FC 27. After November 7, 2026, at 11:59:50 PM UTC, EA requires users to log in to FC 27 Ultimate Team on PC or console at least once to continue using the apps. These dates and access rules are specific to the 2026–27 season and may change in future seasons. The same guide says early access depends on having created an Ultimate Team Club in FC 26, FC 25, or FC 24 on the platform before August 1, 2026, and having an account in good standing.
