You can keep a yoga breathing channel available around the clock by sending a pre-produced feed to YouTube Live through an encoder, using an Airtel connection whose upload performance you have measured, and operating the broadcast as monitored sessions with planned restarts—not as one session guaranteed to run forever. Set up and test the stream before making it public, keep the stream key private, and schedule sessions under 12 hours if you need YouTube’s automatic archive.
What “24/7” means in practice
A continuous channel is an operating plan, not a promise that one encoder session will never fail. Your encoder, local power, Airtel connection, and YouTube can each interrupt a broadcast. YouTube also warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If replays matter, run shorter sessions, plan the handoff, and keep a local recording.
Check YouTube and Airtel before building the stream
YouTube channel eligibility
- Verify the YouTube channel and confirm it has no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. YouTube lists both as prerequisites for live streaming.
- Review YouTube’s live-stream terms and Community Guidelines. You need the necessary rights for everything in the feed, including music and other audio.
Airtel service at your address
Airtel’s Xstream Fiber plans page advertises speeds up to 1 Gbps and unlimited data, but that does not establish a particular upload rate or uninterrupted service for your line. Airtel’s published Xstream Fiber terms state that its Fair Usage Policy threshold is 3333 GB in a billing cycle, after which speed may be reduced; Airtel also reserves the right to amend the policy. These are published India service details checked on 2026-10-03, not permanent guarantees. Check current availability and terms for your address, and distinguish Xstream Fiber from AirFiber.

Measure upload performance from the computer that will stream, ideally over wired Ethernet if practical. Repeat the test at times the feed will run. Configure the stream below the upload capacity you can reliably sustain, leaving headroom for variation; advertised download speed is not evidence of sustained upload performance.

Choose an encoder and configure YouTube Live
Set up the stream
- In YouTube Studio, open the live-stream setup and create or select the broadcast. Choose an encoder workflow suitable for your produced yoga feed.
- Copy YouTube’s server URL and stream key into the encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Set the encoder to use H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval. YouTube recommends that interval and says it should not exceed four seconds. Use RTMPS where available.
- Select resolution and bitrate from YouTube’s current encoder settings table, then confirm the choice with repeat upload tests on the actual Airtel line. YouTube lists 6 Mbps as its recommended bitrate for 1080p at 30 fps; treat this as a reference for that format, not a universal bitrate requirement.
- Use a private or unlisted test broadcast first. Inspect YouTube’s preview and watch page, confirm the picture and breathing audio are clear, check stream health, and verify that the local recording is being written.
Make the feed comfortable to watch and listen to
Test the actual movement and sound planned for the long-running feed, rather than judging quality from a static test image. Listen for clipping, silence, abrupt loops, or distracting level changes. Confirm the video stays framed and the breathing or instruction audio remains intelligible throughout the segment.
Plan sessions, archives, and recovery
Use shorter segments if YouTube replays matter
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Schedule segments shorter than 12 hours and make each restart deliberate: prepare the next session, start it, confirm its preview and watch page are healthy, and retain a local recording. A planned handoff is an operational way to manage the archive limit, not a guarantee of seamless playback for viewers.

Test encoder failover
A backup encoder can reduce the impact of a primary encoder failure, but it does not repair an Airtel outage. Configure and test failover before relying on it. YouTube recommends stopping the primary encoder or disconnecting its Ethernet cable during a test to confirm that the player rolls over to the backup. Also check that the local archive file is growing and that the watch page is reachable.

Consider local power protection
- If brief local power cuts are a concern, consider a UPS battery backup for router and streaming PC. Size it for the actual equipment load and runtime you need.
- A UPS does not protect against an Airtel network outage or a YouTube/platform failure.
- If continuous public availability is mission-critical, ask Airtel what support options are available at your address and consider a genuinely independent backup connection. No specific Airtel uptime or backup-program figure is established here.
Keep yoga audio and visuals within your rights
Use original material or content for which you have the necessary licenses and permissions. YouTube’s live-stream terms expressly include music licensing rights, as well as compliance with Community Guidelines and applicable law. A track being available online or usable in a personal video does not by itself establish permission for a continuous public live stream. Check the rights for every sound and visual element before broadcasting.

Common problems and what to check
