To get a Hermès restock notification, open the unavailable item’s product page on your country’s Hermès website and select “Notify me” if the option appears. Submit the request using the account and email address required by that site, then watch your inbox and spam folder. The alert is not a reservation or a promise that the item will return.
How to sign up for an official Hermès restock alert
- Visit the Hermès website for your country and open the exact product page.
- If the item is eligible, select “Notify me” or the equivalent option shown on that market’s site.
- Sign in or create the required local Hermès account and submit the notification request.
- Check for a confirmation email. If it is missing, look in spam or junk mail and verify that the email address on your account is correct.
- Keep checking the official product page. Hermès says the alert is available only for certain out-of-stock products, and its US FAQ recommends checking the site frequently.
Labels and procedures may differ by country. If no notification option appears, the product may not be eligible for an online alert.
What the notification does—and does not—mean
For US sign-ups, Hermès describes the email as notice that a product is back in stock, if it returns. It does not guarantee a restock, reserve an item, or guarantee that stock will remain available while you complete checkout. Hermès Canada states the same core limitation: “Signing up for back in stock notifications does not guarantee the future availability of the product and does not constitute a reservation in the event of a restock.” Hermès Canada Back in Stock Notifications Terms and Conditions
How long alerts last and how many you can request
Limits are market-specific. The US and Canada terms both state a 180-day alert period, counted from the confirmation email, but their registration caps differ:

| Hermès market | Maximum registrations | Alert period |
|---|---|---|
| United States | 50 products | 180 days after the confirmation email |
| Canada | 3 products | 180 days after the confirmation email |

What to do if you cannot find the item online
Hermès USA says its website shows a selection of products that are in stock, that the offering changes, and that customers should check regularly. Its US FAQ also says stores choose their assortments independently. For stock questions, contact or visit a local Hermès store; make an appointment if that option is available. These details are specific to the United States and should not be assumed to apply identically in other countries.

Should you use a third-party Hermès alert service?
Independent services advertise additional monitoring, but they are not Hermès notifications and their claims should be checked before you rely on them. RestockAlerts says it monitors selected Hermès product families, requires an account to create and manage alerts, and currently sends email rather than SMS.
