To get the paid Echoes of Sekigahara expansion and Most Wanted mode, buy the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition or, if you already own the game, purchase the Complete Edition Upgrade. The free Ghost of Yōtei Legends co-op mode is separate; online play in Legends requires PlayStation Plus.
Which Ghost of Yōtei content is paid?
The two paid additions are Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted. Sony says both are delivered with patch v2.0, but access to them requires the Complete Edition or its upgrade.

Echoes of Sekigahara
This is a story expansion following Atsu in the present and through flashbacks to her time on the mainland and the Battle of Sekigahara. It adds a new valley, enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and other content. Sucker Punch’s announcement describes the expansion and its release.
Most Wanted
Most Wanted is a single-player combat survival mode. You accept bounties, begin runs, earn perks, and unlock characters; it is part of the paid content rather than the free Legends mode.

Bonus items in Complete Edition
The Complete Edition listing includes an in-game mask, Charm of Hokkyokusei, The Snake Armor, Digital Deluxe Armor Dye, Digital Deluxe Horse & Saddle, Sword Kit, Traveler’s Maps (Early Unlock), and Charm of Amaterasu, in addition to the game and new content. The limited Sakai Armor early-unlock offer ended September 30, 2026, so it is not a current offer as of October 3.

How to get the content on PS5
- If you do not own the game: Buy the Complete Edition from the PlayStation Store in your region, then download and install the game and its available update.
- If you already own the game: Buy the Complete Edition Upgrade from the PlayStation Store, then install patch v2.0 and any related content download available for your copy.
- If you only want owner-wide update changes: Install patch v2.0; you do not need to buy the Complete Edition Upgrade for those changes.
PlayStation announced availability globally on October 1, 2026, with October 2 in some territories, including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Those announced dates have passed, but store availability and rollout can still vary by territory. Downloading requires an internet connection and a PlayStation account.
