The documentation reviewed does not establish a dedicated batch endpoint, a maximum batch size, or a screenshot-specific concurrency limit. For multiple targets, build and manage one URL2PNG request per target unless Cloudinary confirms a supported batch option for your account.
How Cloudinary captures a website screenshot
Cloudinary’s URL2PNG Website Screenshots Add-on documentation describes screenshot generation as an on-the-fly dynamic transformation. You set the delivery type to url2png and use the website address as the public ID. Cloudinary says the resulting screenshot is cached and delivered through its CDN.
That is a URL-based, per-target workflow—not a documented multi-URL screenshot request. You can automate it across a list of sites, but your code or job runner must coordinate those individual target requests.
What “in bulk” means in the documented workflow
The URL2PNG material reviewed does not specify a screenshot batch endpoint, maximum number of screenshot URLs per request, or screenshot-specific concurrency limit. Treat each target as its own capture and confirm with Cloudinary whether your account has another supported mechanism before relying on one.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Cloudinary’s separate bulk-upload support article describes uploading files, not capturing websites. Its recommendation to start at about 10 simultaneous requests applies to upload operations and must not be treated as a URL2PNG screenshot limit or target.
Likewise, the Upload API and Admin API cover asset upload and management operations; they are not evidence of a bulk website-capture endpoint.

Build a per-target capture workflow
- Confirm access first. Check that URL2PNG is enabled and review your account’s current add-on and transformation settings.
- Prepare one target URL per page. Keep a stable identifier alongside each URL so you can associate the returned screenshot with the right record.
- Construct a URL2PNG transformation URL for each target. Use the documented delivery type and target URL, and add only the capture options your use case requires.
- Request and record each result. Track success or failure separately for every target; retry only failures rather than repeating already completed work.
- Control concurrency conservatively. Because the reviewed screenshot documentation does not publish a concurrency recommendation, begin with a small number of simultaneous screenshot requests and adjust only after checking your account behavior or confirming limits with Cloudinary.
- Protect dynamic URLs. Cloudinary warns that unplanned dynamic screenshot URLs can create costs. The documentation says these add-on URLs are, by default, required to be eagerly generated or signed using Cloudinary’s authenticated API. Follow the access controls configured for your account; do not expose credentials or assume an unsigned URL is suitable for public use.
Choose capture settings for each page
URL2PNG documents options including viewport, user_agent, and delay. Use a viewport that matches the intended presentation, a user agent when you need a particular browser context, and a delay when the page needs time to render. The guide demonstrates a mobile setup with a 640-by-1135 viewport, an iPhone user-agent string, and fullpage=false; those are example values, not universal requirements.
Cloudinary’s CLI documentation also demonstrates capturing part of a website with URL2PNG, setting dimensions and crop position, applying grayscale, and opening the generated URL. The add-on guide points to further transformations. Check the current transformation documentation for the settings you need rather than assuming every transformation behaves identically for every capture.

Use Cloudinary CLI transformations after capture
The CLI example shows that a URL2PNG capture can be used with image transformations, such as adjusting dimensions or crop position and applying grayscale. This is useful when your batch output needs consistent presentation, but it does not add a batch-capture endpoint: you still need a capture URL for each target. Refer to Cloudinary’s CLI guide for its current command syntax and the URL2PNG guide for capture-specific settings.
Cost and access controls to check
Before generating a large set, review how your Cloudinary account handles the URL2PNG add-on and dynamic transformations. Cloudinary warns that unplanned dynamic screenshot URLs can create costs and says add-on URLs are, by default, required to be eagerly generated or signed using its authenticated API. Account-specific pricing was not established in the cited material, so consult your account configuration and current Cloudinary terms before estimating batch cost.

Troubleshooting a multi-target run
- A target is missing from the output: log the result per target and inspect the corresponding URL2PNG request; a multi-target job is only as complete as its per-target tracking.
- The page looks incomplete: review the viewport and delay settings for that page. A mobile viewport or short delay may not suit every site.
- A generated URL is inaccessible: check whether the account requires eager generation or signing, and follow the configured authenticated workflow.
- Costs appear unexpectedly: review which dynamic URLs were requested and who can generate them; Cloudinary specifically warns about costs from unplanned dynamic screenshot URLs.
- You are looking for a batch limit: the reviewed URL2PNG documentation does not publish one. Do not infer one from Cloudinary’s bulk-upload guidance, which concerns uploads.
Or skip the browser setup
If the goal is simply to capture many URLs without assembling your own browser-capture workflow, ScreenshotNeo offers a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF; see the API documentation for the available parameters.
