First, check that the Rumble video player isn’t muted and raise the iPhone’s playback volume while the video is playing. Then try another Rumble video and play audio in a different app. These quick checks help show whether the problem is limited to one video, Rumble, or the iPhone’s sound more broadly.
Start with the Rumble video and volume controls
- Check the player’s mute control. Open the video’s controls and make sure its speaker or mute button isn’t set to mute.
- Raise the iPhone’s playback volume while the video is running. This checks the volume used for media playback rather than relying on a volume level set at another time.
- Try a second Rumble video. If only one video is silent, the symptom may be limited to that video. If several are silent, continue with the app and device checks below.
These are practical first checks, not a Rumble-confirmed fix or an official Rumble troubleshooting sequence.
Check whether other apps have sound
Play audio in another app on the same iPhone. If that app is also silent, focus on the iPhone’s sound settings and speaker checks. If other apps play audio normally but Rumble does not, the issue appears more limited to Rumble; compare another Rumble video and the app with a browser before contacting support.

Apple’s iPhone speaker troubleshooting guidance, published March 16, 2026, recommends these checks:

- Check that Do Not Disturb is off.
- Remove a case, film, or screen protector that could obstruct the device.
- Inspect the speaker openings for blockage. If needed, clean an opening with a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush.
- Test the device’s sound settings.
If sound problems persist after these checks, Apple says the iPhone may need service.
If only Rumble videos are silent
Compare videos and playback routes
Try another Rumble video, then compare playback in the Rumble iOS app with playback in a browser. If you already use a connected audio device, note whether the symptom changes when audio plays through it rather than the iPhone speaker. These comparisons can help narrow down where the issue occurs, but they do not prove a cause or establish that one playback route is more reliable.

Give Rumble useful details
If the issue remains limited to Rumble, contact Rumble Support and include the iOS version, Rumble app version, links to affected videos, and whether the silence occurs in the app, a browser, or both. Rumble’s How To Use Rumble knowledge-base index was last updated Nov. 7, 2025, and its General Questions index was last updated Nov. 15, 2025. The indexed material reviewed lists mobile apps and iOS-related guidance but does not identify a specific fix for silent Rumble video playback on iPhone.

The comparisons help distinguish a single-video symptom from one affecting Rumble or the wider device.
