To find which of your 24/7 YouTube streams earned the most from ads, compare each stream’s estimated ad revenue in YouTube Studio over the same date range. Start in Analytics, use the live-stream ad revenue breakdown and its Live filter where available, and use Advanced Mode to compare videos if needed. Don’t rank by estimated revenue if you mean ads alone: that broader metric can include memberships, YouTube Premium, and Super Chat.
Find live-stream ad revenue in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select Analytics. The channel-level and video-level revenue views are the starting points for reviewing earnings by content. YouTube documents these Revenue metrics for creators in the YouTube Partner Program. YouTube Analytics revenue reports.
- Open the ad revenue breakdown and select Live. YouTube’s live monetization guidance says Analytics can show an ad revenue breakdown for live streams and live replays. Monetize your live stream.
- Choose the period you want to assess. Record the date range, then use that same range for each stream you compare.
- Read estimated ad revenue. This is the ad-only figure; use it rather than estimated revenue when the question is specifically about ads.
Compare streams fairly
Use the same revenue metric and date range for every candidate stream. Compare the stream or video identity alongside estimated ad revenue, then rank from highest to lowest. This avoids mixing a stream’s lifetime earnings with another stream’s earnings over a shorter window.
Use Advanced Mode when you need a side-by-side comparison
In Analytics, open Advanced Mode to select content, compare videos or groups, set dates, choose metrics and breakdowns, and export the current view. The exact report presentation and availability can vary by account; YouTube does not promise a dedicated report that ranks every continuous stream for any custom period. Explore YouTube Analytics Advanced Mode.

Estimated ad revenue versus estimated revenue
YouTube defines estimated ad revenue as revenue from ads on videos. Estimated revenue is broader and may include other revenue types, such as memberships, YouTube Premium, and Super Chat. For the highest-earning stream by ads, compare estimated ad revenue only. Understand ad revenue analytics.
When to trust the ranking
Treat recent rankings as provisional. YouTube says estimated income can be adjusted after one week and again in the middle of the following month. Finalized earnings generally appear in Analytics after payment is added to AdSense for YouTube, typically between the 7th and 12th day of the following month.
