For a quick read on what people are watching, use Netflix’s own Top 10 for Netflix popularity and a country-specific JustWatch chart to discover and compare titles across streaming services. The rankings measure different kinds of activity, so check the country and reporting window before relying on a position.
Check Netflix’s own Top 10
Netflix’s Top 10 Shows and Top 10 Movies appear on the service’s home screen and update daily. Netflix describes them as the most-watched titles in a country where the feature is available. You can also visit top10.netflix.com; Netflix’s Help Center says those lists update weekly, so the website and in-app presentation may not follow the same cadence. For rankings organized by country and category, use Netflix’s Tudum Top 10 charts. The chart identifies its reporting week, and you can look up a title’s ranking details over time and across countries. Include the country and chart period whenever you cite a rank; a position without those details can be misleading.
Find what’s trending across services
Use JustWatch’s streaming charts for a cross-service discovery view. Select the relevant country and choose a chart period—last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days—before browsing. JustWatch says its charts are updated daily and cover 140 countries and 4,500 streaming services; those figures and its claim of more than 50 million monthly users come from JustWatch’s own live chart page, accessed in 2026.

JustWatch says chart positions are based on activity by its users, including clicking a streaming offer, adding a title to a watchlist, and marking a title as seen. This can help surface titles and show where they are available, but it is not a count of everyone watching each service. Use the chart as a discovery and availability aid, then confirm a title’s current availability in the relevant service or country.
How to compare charts fairly
A Netflix rank and a JustWatch rank do not measure the same thing: Netflix reports popularity based on viewing on its platform, while JustWatch uses activity on its discovery service. A higher rank on one chart does not establish that a title has more total viewers than a title on another.

- Country: Confirm that both charts cover the same country. Netflix says Top 10 availability varies by country; JustWatch provides country-specific charts.
- Time period and update: Note whether a chart is daily, weekly, or based on a rolling 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day window. Avoid comparing periods as if they were identical.
- What is counted: Distinguish platform viewing from discovery-service actions such as offer clicks, watchlist additions, and seen marks.
- Category: Check whether you are comparing shows, movies, or a combined chart.
What about Prime Video?
The available information here does not establish a current Prime Video public chart that is directly comparable with Netflix’s Top 10 or JustWatch’s cross-service rankings. Rather than assume that a chart is available or unavailable, use JustWatch to find popular titles across services and verify any Prime Video availability on the service itself. Treat any ranking you encounter on Prime Video as a separate signal unless its geography, period, category, and methodology are clear.
For a longer-term view of Netflix popularity
Netflix says it began sharing weekly Top 10 and Most Popular lists in 2021. Its What We Watched report for the first half of 2026 summarizes viewing hours over six months. Netflix said it plans to move to yearly snapshots starting in Q1 2027; that is an announced future plan, not a current chart cadence. These reports offer a broader historical view, but they are not a live, cross-service trending list.
