To find current Samsung phone deals, start with Samsung’s U.S. phone deals page, then open the offer for the specific Galaxy model you want. Compare its price with and without a trade-in, and read the offer terms before counting the displayed credit as a guaranteed saving. Samsung’s prices, eligible trade-in devices and promotion rules change, so verify them on the live offer page before ordering.
Where to look for Samsung phone deals
Start with Samsung’s U.S. offers
Visit Samsung’s Galaxy phone deals page and select the offer for the exact model you’re considering. Samsung’s broader offers page may also surface promotions. Treat displayed models and dollar amounts as snapshots, not standing prices: check the live offer and its linked terms at checkout.
Compare the actual purchase cost
Record the price without a trade-in and the price shown with your device. Check whether the reduction is an upfront discount, a trade-in credit, or a combination the offer explicitly permits. A large headline credit does not by itself establish that an offer is the best value; eligibility, device condition and other terms affect what you ultimately receive.
How Samsung’s direct trade-in works
Samsung describes its program as providing an “instant trade-in credit” toward a qualifying new Galaxy purchase. The anticipated credit is applied when you buy, but Samsung reviews the device after you send it. The amount therefore depends on the qualifying purchase, the eligible trade-in model, the specific promotion and the device’s condition. Read Samsung’s trade-in FAQ and the terms linked from your exact offer.

Check your device against the offer’s requirements
Samsung’s offer terms generally require a device that powers on, holds a charge and does not shut down unexpectedly, with a functioning display. The terms also address screen and case condition, liquid damage and general condition; an applicable cracked-screen offer may change some condition rules. The device must not be blacklisted, must have a verified FCC ID, and must be owned by you rather than leased. You must factory-reset it, remove personal information and disable software locks. Requirements can vary by offer, so use the terms attached to your order rather than assuming every promotion has identical conditions.
Meet the return deadline
The current terms reviewed require the trade-in to be sent within 15 days after you receive the new device. Samsung says it may charge back the anticipated credit if the device is not sent on time. If it arrives on time but fails eligibility review, the terms describe a chargeback minus $25. Follow the return instructions and deadline in your order, and keep the shipment details until the review is complete.

Check restrictions before checkout
The terms limit trade-ins to one per qualifying purchase. They also say a trade-in generally cannot be combined with other Samsung, carrier or retailer promotions unless the applicable offer specifically permits it. Trading in a device does not clear any remaining payments or other obligations on its existing carrier or retailer contract.
How to compare Samsung and carrier offers
Samsung’s carrier comparison page lists examples of offers with up to $900 in trade-in or promotional credit applied over 36 months. That example requires a qualifying plan, and Samsung says promotional credits can stop if eligibility requirements are no longer met. It is not a guaranteed amount for every customer or a universal current offer. Confirm the device, account, upgrade and plan requirements in the live carrier terms.

- Device cost: Compare what you pay for the phone after any upfront discount or trade-in credit.
- Service cost: Include the qualifying plan’s cost and any obligation to keep it.
- Credit timing: Establish whether the credit is applied immediately or distributed over time.
- Eligibility changes: Check what happens to remaining credits if you change service or otherwise stop qualifying.
- Trade-in and return terms: Compare condition rules, shipping deadlines and possible chargebacks.
- Combining promotions: Verify whether each specific offer allows other discounts or credits.
For a carrier offer, check the Samsung carrier comparison page, then confirm the current terms with the carrier. Requirements and credit schedules can depend on the plan, device and account.
