Marvel’s Wolverine has 14 Nightmare Doors across its campaign missions, plus a separate 15th Nightmare Trial that unlocks in the Nightmare Cabin after the story. Follow the purple roots that appear along the route to find most doors. This guide lists each mission, trial name and available location cue; the exact waypoint for the final door is not established in the available location guide, so it is not guessed here.
How Nightmare Doors and Trials work
Nightmare Doors are optional trial entrances associated with campaign missions. Purple roots are the visual cue that leads toward a door. The trials include combat encounters and timed or traversal challenges; completing them earns AP, and special Gauntlet trials can also reward outfit and claw pieces.

There are 14 mission doors and 15 trials in total. The extra trial is a post-story challenge in the Nightmare Cabin, not another door hidden in a campaign mission. The mission and trial names below are listed in campaign order, following the location guide published by PowerPyx on September 14, 2026; Push Square’s September 15, 2026 list cross-checks the 14 names and mission sequence.
Where to find each Nightmare Door
1. Homecoming — The Enemy of My Enemy
This door is story-mandatory. After a cutscene with Essex, Logan enters it automatically.

2. The One That Got Away — Can’t Outrun the Past
After fighting several more Reaver groups, continue until you reach a small river. The door is encountered automatically.
3. Raise Some Hell — Hunting the Hunter
After the furnace building, reach the outside area with containers. Drop down and follow the purple roots to the door.
4. Something Much Stronger — Fallen on Hard Times
After freeing the wolf from the branches, follow the roots to the door.

After the portal and jet-engine sequence, move forward and enter the hallway on the right. Go through the next door, turn left through another door, then continue to the end of the corridor.
6. One Last Mission — Last Stand at Cold Pines
Leave the bar and follow the main path toward the nearby roots. This trial is a multi-wave gauntlet.

7. Get Angry — Death By 1000 Cuts
After the hallucination sequence, enter the next cave. The door is directly ahead.
8. Bad Blood — Shinjuku Shuffle
After the street fight, follow the roots that appear ahead and lead up the building.
9. Death Comes to Death — Rockbottom Blues
After checking the security footage, leave the security office and follow the roots toward the left side. The trial objective is to reach the exit in 47 seconds.
10. Sinister Tidings — Crucible of Tears
Interact with the sink in the bathroom, then go upstairs to the balcony. The door is there.
11. Way Down Low — Blood in the Jungle
Reach the radio tower and ride down the zipline. Follow the roots to the door.
12. Roll The Dice — Run the Tables
Clear the casino backroom. Before using the elevator, look left and follow the roots.

13. I’m Still Here — Edge of a Knife
After an enemy area that can be passed stealthily, continue along the main path. The roots appear there and lead to the right.
14. This Was the Dream — Savage Showdown
The mission and trial name are listed in the cross-checked door lists, but the available location directions do not establish the exact waypoint. No reliable room or route cue can be given here.

Yes. PowerPyx says missed doors remain obtainable through chapter select after the story. PlayStation’s official Marvel’s Wolverine page confirms that the Nightmare Cabin supports mission and trial replay, and that Mission Replay can be used to acquire level-specific trophies and collectibles.
Use the collectible tracker in the pause menu or Nightmare Cabin to check progress. If a door is missing, replay its associated mission or trial rather than restarting the campaign.

PowerPyx’s trophy guide says one Adamantium rank is enough for Platinum trophy requirements, while bronze or better in the other trials suffices. Treat that as a trophy-guide requirement, not a rule that changes how doors unlock or how AP is awarded. The available information distinguishes collecting a door from completing its trial: prioritize finding the entrance if you are tracking doors, then complete the challenge for its reward.
