Whether you can locate a lost JLab earbud depends on its exact model and whether a compatible locating feature was set up before it went missing. First identify the model, then use Google Find Hub, Apple Find My, or Tile only where JLab documents support; otherwise, search likely places and ask JLab about a matching replacement.
1. Identify the exact JLab model
“Jib” is often used informally to refer to JLab earbuds, but locating features differ by product. Check the box, receipt, order history, or the name saved in your phone’s Bluetooth device history. Do not assume a feature works just because the earbuds are made by JLab.
Also note whether you use Android or an Apple device, and whether you had already enabled a locating service before the earbuds went missing. These details determine which steps are relevant.
2. Check Google Find Hub on a supported Android model
JLab’s Google Find Hub guide lists compatible models, including JBuds Mini, JBuds Air Pro, JBuds Air ANC, JBuds Air Sport, Go Pop+, and Go Pop ANC, along with other models. The guide requires an Android 14-or-newer device signed in to a Google Account. Check its current compatibility list rather than assuming your model is supported.

This method is useful only if the earbuds were linked to your Google Account while they were available. JLab’s setup instructions require the product to be connected during setup, so you cannot add already-lost earbuds remotely.
- On the Android device used with the earbuds, open Settings and go to Bluetooth.
- Find the JLab product in the device list and tap the gear icon beside it.
- Choose Find Device, then follow the on-screen options to ring the earbuds or check their last known location.
A last known location is not necessarily their current location, and ringing is most useful when the earbuds are nearby and able to respond.

3. Check Apple Find My for a JBuds Mini ANC charging case
Apple Find My is a narrow exception, not a general feature for JLab earbuds. According to JLab’s JBuds Mini ANC Apple Find My guide, it works with the JBuds Mini ANC charging case, not the individual earbuds. The regular JBuds Mini is not supported.
If you have the JBuds Mini ANC case and added it to Find My before it went missing, open the Find My app and check the case. JLab says the app can play a sound, show directions, and share the case’s location. This locates the case, not a missing earbud on its own.

4. Check Tile for JBuds Air Pro
The JBuds Air Pro manual instructs owners to download the Tile app and activate Tile to find the earbuds. It also warns that activating Tile reduces earbud playtime. This documentation applies to JBuds Air Pro; it does not establish Tile support for every JLab model. If Tile was not activated before the loss, the manual does not say that you can enable it remotely afterward.
5. Search physically if no locating service applies
If your model is not supported, or its locating feature was not configured before it went missing, the cited JLab documentation does not establish a universal remote-tracking method. Bluetooth pairing and factory-reset instructions are for connection troubleshooting, not for locating lost earbuds. JLab’s factory-reset guide does not turn a reset into a tracking tool.

- Retrace where you last used or removed the earbuds, including the route between those places.
- Check clothing pockets, bags, desk areas, furniture cushions, and the charging area.
- If you lost one earbud, search separately for the remaining earbud and the case; a feature that locates a case does not necessarily locate an individual bud.
6. Ask JLab about a model-matched replacement
If searching does not work, use JLab’s contact page and its “Purchase a replacement earbud or charging case” option to ask about the exact model. Availability and compatibility depend on the product, and the page does not guarantee that a replacement part is in stock for every model.
JLab’s warranty policy describes a two-year warranty for Bluetooth-device defects, subject to its terms, and states that JLab is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Losing an earbud by itself is not a defect claim.
