To track Resident Evil Requiem collectibles, use the in-game Files and Challenge menus alongside a location guide, and work through the areas in order. Be careful with the route: PowerPyx’s guide, published February 26, 2026, is based on Casual/Standard, some locations change on Insanity, and the guide warns that there is no chapter select. Its counts distinguish 139 collectible locations from a broader 235 listed items that also includes keys, weapons, upgrades, and weapon parts.
What counts as a collectible—and what does not
PowerPyx reports 139 collectible locations across six categories. These are guide-publisher counts, not an official Capcom checklist. The same guide’s wider total of 235 includes other items, so it should not be read as the number of collectibles.
| Collectible set | Guide count | Named achievement or trophy |
|---|---|---|
| Mr. Raccoon Memoriam | 25 | You Little Rascal! |
| Files | 75 | Case Closed |
| Safes | 5 | No Safe is Safe |
| BSAA containers | 3 | Crate Expectations |
| Plant 43 seedlings | 9 | Not Today, Buds! |
| Antique Coins | 22 | No achievement or trophy tie-in stated |
Weapons, upgrades, weapon parts, and key items are included in PowerPyx’s wider list, not in its 139-collectible count. The guide also lists 44 models and 56 concept arts available through the Bonus Menu; those are menu purchases, not world pickups.

PowerPyx organizes its location guide by area and provides separate pages by item type. Follow the area route if you are collecting as you progress; use the type-specific listings if you are checking off a set during cleanup.
#1 Best Overall
- Wrenwood: Start with the Wrenwood section of the area guide.
- Rhodes Hill: Check the Care Center, basement, and courtyard sections.
- Raccoon City: Continue through East Raccoon City, Raccoon City Center, Orphanage, and Side Street.
- ARK: Finish with the ARK section.
Use the guide’s character labels as well as its area names when following a location route. For files, PowerPyx also provides a menu-order listing: compare it with the game’s Files menu to identify which entry you are missing, then use the chronological location guide to find it. File names and story documents may reveal plot details, so a location-only checklist is the less spoilery way to track progress.
Track progress in the game and recover missed items
The game’s Challenge Menu tracks collectible progress, although PowerPyx reports that some challenge trackers appear only after completing the game once. The Files menu lets you inspect collected documents. The guide says Mr. Raccoon Memoriam and files count across playthroughs, and that Mr. Raccoon maps become available in the Bonus Menu after a first playthrough.

PowerPyx warns that there is no chapter select and that items can be missed. If you want to revisit an area in the same run, keep a manual save from each area rather than relying on chapter replay. Otherwise, plan to check missed entries on a later playthrough; the guide specifically says files and Mr. Raccoons carry over for tracking across runs.

Use the correct route for your difficulty
The detailed PowerPyx collectible route is based on Casual/Standard. Its author warns that some locations differ on Insanity, especially Antique Coins. A comment from the guide publisher says the Insanity coin spawns differ and those coins are not required for trophies. Do not use the Casual/Standard coin route as a universal Insanity checklist, or treat the coin total as a trophy-completion requirement.

What unlockables are covered
For achievement or trophy goals, the five sets in the table above have named rewards or completion targets; PowerPyx specifically says collecting all 75 files unlocks Case Closed. Its wider item guide also covers weapons, upgrades, and weapon parts, but the published count alone does not establish every unlock condition or menu cost.
Game8’s search-result excerpt says purchased weapon unlocks can be collected from Grace’s item box or Leon’s supply box and mentions a map that marks Mr. Raccoon locations. Because the underlying Game8 page was unavailable to inspect, treat those as limited pointers rather than a complete, verified unlock table. The precise unlock conditions, costs, and current menu labels are not established here.

Choose a checklist that matches your goal
- For an area-by-area first run: Follow the chronological route, saving each area before leaving if you may need to return.
- For one achievement set: Use the matching by-type guide and compare it with the in-game Challenge Menu; remember that some trackers may not appear until after a clear.
- For missing files: Compare the in-game Files menu with PowerPyx’s 75-entry menu-order list, then consult the area instructions for the absent entry.
- For Insanity: Use difficulty-specific directions wherever available, especially for Antique Coins, instead of assuming Casual/Standard locations match.
PowerPyx’s detailed guide is the source for the area and category route described here; its separate files guide corroborates the 75-file count and menu-based tracking approach. These are third-party guides, not an official Capcom checklist. A second useful format is Maka91Productions’ 100% video guide, whose timestamps are organized by area and cover files, figures, safes, containers, seedlings, weapons, upgrades, recipes, and achievements or trophies.
