NBA 2K26’s official guides confirm modes such as MyNBA/MyGM, MyCAREER, MyTEAM and The City, but do not document a specific City Edition uniform menu path or guarantee the uniforms appear in every mode. In NBA 2K, a virtual uniform is an in-game item selected through a supported game mode. The real jersey sold by the NBA or Nike is physical apparel. Buying one does not, by itself, grant a virtual uniform or unlock game content.

How to look for City Edition uniforms in NBA 2K26
- Confirm your game and platform. These instructions concern NBA 2K26; older versions can have different modes and menus. Check whether your platform is a Gen 9 version if you intend to use The City or MyNBA.
- Choose the mode you want to play. The official NBA 2K26 mode overview lists MyNBA/MyGM, MyCAREER, MyTEAM and The City, but does not specify City Edition uniform availability or selection steps for each mode. See NBA 2K26: Game Mode Breakdown.
- Inspect that mode’s uniform selector. When the mode offers team uniforms, look through its alternate or other-uniform list for the team’s City Edition design. Platform limits for MyNBA and The City
2K says The City and MyNBA are available only in Gen 9 NBA 2K26. Its announcement describes The City on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2; availability and requirements can vary by platform and edition. Some online or bonus features may require an internet connection, downloads, online play or account registration. Do not infer that a uniform is available in every mode just because the game includes that mode or another version of NBA 2K offered it. An NBA 2K video from 2020 showed City jerseys in Play Now, MyNBA and Franchise in NBA 2K21; that is legacy context, not confirmation of NBA 2K26 availability or navigation: NBA 2K21: City Edition Jerseys.
Buying a real City Edition jersey
If you want to wear the design outside the game, look for physical merchandise through the NBA Store or Nike. The NBA’s 2025–26 announcement points readers to NBA Store jerseys, and Nike’s catalog lists City Edition products by team, player and product type, including Swingman and Authentic jerseys. Compare the team, player, season or design, jersey type, fit, size and seller. A real Nike NBA City Edition Swingman jersey is a clothing option; neither it nor other merchandise should be treated as an NBA 2K entitlement. A game edition bonus or cover jersey is a separate offer and does not establish access to City Edition uniforms.
