To get a Cash App tax form or tax transaction summary, eligible business-account users should open Settings → Documents in the app. To download a monthly account statement, use Profile → Documents & statements → Account statements, or sign in at cash.app/account and choose Documents → Account statements. These are different records, and neither path guarantees that a particular account has a tax form available.
First, choose the record you need
Cash App uses several kinds of records that can be relevant when preparing taxes. A Form 1099-K, a tax transaction summary, a monthly account statement, and transaction history are not interchangeable. Cash App says, “You can find your transaction receipts and account statements in your Cash App account” in its U.S. Terms of Service.
- Form 1099-K: A tax form Cash App says it provides to qualifying business-account users under the applicable reporting rules.
- Tax transaction summary: A summary available with the tax form for eligible business-account users, according to Cash App’s Form 1099-K information.
- Monthly account statement: A statement for a particular month, accessed through the account-statement section in the app or on the web.
- Transaction history: A view of account transactions. Cash App’s terms describe 12-month and 24-month history access in the app or account website; this is not a Form 1099-K or a stated retention period for tax forms or account statements.
Find a Form 1099-K or tax transaction summary
- Open Cash App and go to Settings.
- Open Documents.
- Look for the available tax form and transaction summary, then open or download the record you need.
Cash App describes this tax-document process for qualifying business accounts. Its page says personal-only accounts will not receive a Form 1099-K from Cash App. It notes an exception for someone who previously had a business account and met the reporting conditions before switching to a personal account. If no document appears, general instructions cannot establish your account’s eligibility or explain an account-specific access issue.

For tax year 2025, Cash App states that the federal Form 1099-K reporting threshold for business accounts is more than $20,000 and more than 200 transactions. Cash App says qualifying forms for that tax year are to be delivered by February 2, 2026. These are Cash App’s stated federal rules and delivery date for 2025, not a guarantee that a form will be visible for a specific user. State reporting requirements may be lower, and thresholds and rules can change by tax year. Check Cash App’s current Form 1099-K page for the applicable year.

A Form 1099-K reports payment activity; receiving one does not by itself determine whether every reported payment is taxable income. Likewise, not receiving one does not establish that no income needs to be reported. Consider the nature of the payments and applicable tax rules when filing.
Download a monthly account statement in the app
- Open Cash App and tap your Profile.
- Tap Documents & statements.
- Tap Account statements.
- Choose the year and open the month you need to view or download its statement.
Cash App says monthly account statements become available during the last five business days of the month. The app labels and availability details are described on its account statement help page.

Download a monthly account statement on the web
- Sign in to cash.app/account.
- Select Documents, then Account statements.
- Choose the year and open the month you need.
The web route is useful if you prefer to view account records on a computer. The available months and files depend on what Cash App makes accessible for your account.
If a record is missing
- Confirm that you are looking under Documents for a tax form or under Account statements for a monthly statement.
- For a monthly statement, check again during or after the last five business days of the month, when Cash App says statements are made available.
- For a missing tax form, check the business-account eligibility and tax-year rules on Cash App’s Form 1099-K page. State requirements can differ from the stated federal threshold.
- If the expected record still is not visible, contact Cash App support for help with your account. Public instructions cannot confirm your account status or resolve account-specific access problems.
