WhatsApp identifies FM WhatsApp as an unofficial third-party app and does not support it. WhatsApp’s guidance recommends using its official WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app instead. No safe, verified FMWhatsApp download source is established here, so this guide does not link to an APK or provide installation steps for it.
Why WhatsApp does not support FMWhatsApp
WhatsApp lists FM WhatsApp among unofficial apps. It says these apps are modified by third parties, violate its Terms of Service, and are unsupported because it cannot validate their privacy or security practices. As WhatsApp puts it, “We don’t support these apps because we can’t validate their security or privacy practices.” WhatsApp Help Center: About unofficial apps
WhatsApp warns that unofficial apps may contain malware that steals data or damages a device. That is a warning about the risk of the category; it does not establish that every FMWhatsApp release is malicious. WhatsApp also says users may be logged out or prompted to use the official app. WhatsApp Help Center: About unofficial apps

WhatsApp’s instructions for switching from an unofficial app are: “Uninstall the unofficial app, then go to our website to download WhatsApp or the WhatsApp Business app and re-register your phone number.” Follow the current download options on WhatsApp’s Android download page or its official download page.

What happens to your chats when you switch?
WhatsApp does not guarantee that chat history will transfer from an unofficial app to its official app. If preserving messages matters, do not assume an FMWhatsApp backup will restore successfully. WhatsApp’s switching guidance is available in its Help Center article about unofficial apps.
