Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →If DocRaptor returns a PDF that looks blank, first confirm whether the conversion job failed or completed, then open that document’s log. Compare the submitted HTML and parameters with the HTML after JavaScript processing, check asset-loading errors and the conversion stage, and verify any scripts or external resources the document depends on. The log provides the evidence to choose the right fix instead of guessing.
1. Confirm whether the DocRaptor job failed or completed
A failed conversion and a completed PDF that appears blank are different problems. If your request is asynchronous, check the job status, validation errors, document identifier, and any error details before investigating layout. DocRaptor describes jobs as queued, working, completed, or failed; a failure should be debugged from its reported error rather than treated as an empty rendered page. See DocRaptor’s API documentation.
2. Start with the document log
Open the log for the affected document. Compare the input and API parameters you submitted with the HTML DocRaptor reports after JavaScript processing. Then inspect asset-loading errors and the conversion pipeline stage: the log can distinguish missing or empty source content from script-generated content that never appeared, inaccessible resources, or a failure later in generation. DocRaptor’s document-log documentation explains the available details.
Use the logged document identifier and errors when retracing the request. In particular, establish whether the content you expected to see is present in the post-JavaScript HTML. If it is absent there, focus on input or script execution; if it is present, continue to resource and rendering checks.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
3. Check JavaScript-generated content
DocRaptor’s JavaScript execution is disabled by default. If your page creates its content with JavaScript, enable the documented JavaScript option for the request. If that code runs asynchronously, make rendering wait for it to finish using DocRaptor’s documented completion mechanism or an appropriate delay. Then inspect the post-JavaScript HTML in the log to confirm that the expected content exists before layout. See DocRaptor’s JavaScript documentation and the API reference.
Enabling JavaScript alone does not guarantee that asynchronous work has completed. Treat the post-processing HTML as the check: if the expected markup is missing, resolve the page’s script timing or execution issue before investigating PDF styling.

4. Verify that stylesheets, images, fonts, and scripts are reachable
The conversion service must be able to fetch every external resource referenced by the document. Prefer absolute HTTP(S) URLs, or provide a usable base URL through the API or an HTML <base> element when the source uses relative paths. A relative or protocol-relative URL without a suitable base may not resolve. A resource available only on your development machine at localhost is not reachable by DocRaptor; provide the document content directly and embed suitable resources, or expose them through a test server the service can access. See DocRaptor’s guidance on document resources and localhost development.
Use the asset errors in the document log to identify which URLs failed. A missing stylesheet can change how content appears, while missing images or fonts can leave a document incomplete even when the conversion proceeds.

5. Surface resource errors while diagnosing
DocRaptor generally ignores resource errors by default, so a conversion can generate a PDF while omitting assets. For diagnosis, temporarily use the documented setting that fails generation when resource errors occur, then inspect the resulting error details. The API reference names this parameter ignore_resource_errors; confirm its exact spelling and support in the client library and version you use before changing a production request. Restore your intended production behavior after troubleshooting. See the API reference and DocRaptor’s resource-error guidance.
6. Match the fix to the evidence
| What you find | Where to focus |
|---|---|
| The job is failed or has validation errors | Use the status and error details to correct the request; do not debug it as a completed blank PDF. |
| Expected content is missing from submitted HTML | Check the HTML you send and the values used to build it. |
| Expected content is absent after JavaScript processing | Check whether JavaScript is enabled and whether asynchronous work finishes before rendering. |
| Log reports failed asset URLs | Make the resources reachable from DocRaptor and provide absolute URLs or a working base URL. |
| Post-JavaScript HTML contains the expected content but the PDF does not show it | Review asset errors and the logged conversion stage; use resource-error reporting to expose silent failures. |
7. Escalate with document-specific evidence
If the log does not identify the cause, submit a Help Request from that document’s log. DocRaptor says this gives its support team permission to access the content and help debug the document; the details view shows the steps taken and problems encountered. Include the document identifier and relevant error details, but do not post API credentials in a public issue. See DocRaptor support guidance.

If your next step is to capture a page as an image or PDF rather than troubleshoot DocRaptor’s conversion, ScreenshotNeo offers a screenshot API. One GET request returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF; the cURL example below saves a screenshot. See the ScreenshotNeo documentation.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
- Cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets are removed before capture; each cleanup step can be turned off.
- Bot checks, blank pages, failed loads, timeouts, and cache hits are not billed, and the response identifies the page verdict and billing status.
