Spoilers: In Novigrad Dreaming, let Sarah stay if you want to keep the Haunted House secondary quest available. Make her leave if you prefer the later Sarah-and-Johnny encounter; that choice closes the side quest. Neither option is required for the main story or universally better.
Where the choice happens
Geralt investigates a house in Novigrad that is believed to be haunted and discovers Sarah, a godling, as the source of the disturbances. You decide what happens to her when you find her in the house. The choice and its consequences are described in Game8’s quest guide and GameBanshee’s walkthrough.

Which option should you pick?
Choose based on which content matters more to you: keeping Sarah in the house preserves access to Haunted House, while sending her away allows for her later connection with Johnny. The guides document these tradeoffs, not a required or universally correct decision.
