To create a Malayalam podcast radio stream on YouTube, enable live streaming for an eligible channel, create or schedule a broadcast in YouTube Studio, and connect an encoder using the stream URL and stream key. Send your Malayalam audio with a suitable visual feed, check the preview and stream health, then go live. A live broadcast and a YouTube podcast playlist are separate: use the playlist to organize full-length video episodes for on-demand listening.
Choose the right format for your Malayalam show
Decide whether you are broadcasting a single live episode, a recurring scheduled show, or a continuous radio-style channel. YouTube documents scheduled encoder-based broadcasts, but the documented workflow does not establish dependable unattended 24/7 playout or failover. For a show you want to replay or discover later, plan separate on-demand episodes as well as any live broadcasts.
- Live episode: Viewers tune in while you broadcast and can use the live watch page.
- Scheduled show: You can share its watch page in advance, and viewers may receive reminders.
- Podcast playlist: Organizes full-length video episodes for on-demand viewing; it is not the live stream itself.
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions during the preceding 90 days. First-time enablement can take up to 24 hours. Access is also subject to YouTube’s age and policy requirements, so check YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance before setting a date.

Prepare the audio, visual feed, and Malayalam program details
Prepare the host audio and a visual feed before opening the encoder. For a talk show, that visual can be a program graphic or other suitable slate; YouTube does not provide a Malayalam-specific encoder mode. Write the title and description in Malayalam if that best serves your listeners, and make the program identity and schedule clear.
#1 Best Overall

Directional cardioid dynamic microphone corded will not exaggerate your voice, while rejects unwanted off-axis noise for vocal originality and intelligibility during your PS5 gaming streaming video recording. (Tips: Keep the top of end-addressing XLR dynamic microphone AM8 facing audio source, and suggested recording range is 2 to 6 in.)
- [XLR Connection Upgrade-Ability] To use XLR connection, connect the podcast microphone to an audio interface (or mixer) using a separate XLR cable (NOT Included) . Well-connected and smooth operation improves audio flexibility to make you explore various types of music recording singing. The streaming mic isolates the pristine and accurate sound from ambient noise with greater no interference and fidelity. (RGB and function key on mic are INACTIVE when using XLR connection.)
- [USB Connection with Handy Mute] Skip the hassle of setting something up and plug the cable to play the dynamic USB microphone directly, which suits for beginner creators or daily podcast. You can quickly control the gamer mic with tap-to-mute that is independent of computer/Macbook programs to keep privacy when live streaming. - [Soothing Controllable RGB] RGB ring on the desktop gaming microphone for PC, with 3 modes and more than 10 light colors collection, matches your PC gears accessories for gaming synergy even in dim room. You can control the RGB key button of the dynamic microphone USB directly for game color scheme gaming or live streaming. Smooth mic gain knob on the PC microphone gaming has some resistance to the point, easily for audio attenuation or boost presence to less post-production audio. (Only available for USB connection)
- Use a microphone and monitoring setup appropriate to your room and number of speakers. A headset, mixer, or audio interface is optional; add routing hardware only if your sources require it.
- Use music only if you have the rights needed for the intended broadcast. A radio-style format does not exempt a show from copyright rules.
- Test speech and visual movement representative of the actual program. A static graphic and a multi-source show can behave differently in an encoder preview.
Create or schedule the YouTube live stream
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Create a stream, or open the Manage tab to schedule one. Add the Malayalam title, description, and planned start time.
- Share the scheduled watch page if you want listeners to find the event in advance. Scheduling gives viewers a page to promote and a way to receive reminders.
- In Live Control Room, locate the stream URL and stream key for the event. Treat the key like a password: do not publish or share it, and reset it if it is exposed.
Follow the current on-screen Live Control Room directions, which may change. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.
Connect an encoder and choose audio settings
Enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key in a compatible encoder. YouTube’s current encoder guidance supports RTMP/RTMPS workflows and recommends RTMPS where supported. Its listed video codec options include H.264, H.265, and AV1; select a codec and profile supported by your encoder and intended output. For RTMP/RTMPS, YouTube lists AAC or MP3 audio.

|---|---|---|

| Stereo audio bitrate | 128 Kbps | Use 128 Kbps for stereo audio as YouTube recommends. |
| Keyframe interval | 2 seconds recommended; do not exceed 4 seconds | Set a 2-second interval if the encoder exposes this setting. |
| Rate control | CBR listed | Use CBR where appropriate for the selected encoder profile. |
These are YouTube’s platform recommendations, not a guarantee of uninterrupted delivery or a substitute for a bandwidth test. Choose a video quality and bitrate your upload connection can sustain reliably. YouTube recommends retaining 20% upload-bandwidth headroom. Check its current encoder settings and bitrate guidance before going live, since settings recommendations can change.

- Set up the encoder well before the broadcast. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend setup at least 2 hours ahead and starting the encoder at least 15 minutes before the event; these are preparation recommendations, not guarantees.
- Send a test using representative Malayalam speech, the planned visual feed, and the same audio sources you will use on air.
- Check the Live Control Room preview. Confirm speech is audible and clear, the visual appears as intended, and the watch page is accessible on the channel and on mobile.
- Review stream health and audio/video quality. If the connection or sound is unstable, reduce the profile to one the upload link can sustain, correct the audio routing, and test again.
- For a scheduled broadcast, start the encoder and wait for the preview; then use the Live Control Room control to go live as directed by the interface.
YouTube’s streaming tips emphasize upload speed, setup time, previewing, accessibility checks, and monitoring. Monitor the broadcast rather than assuming that a successful preview guarantees the entire show will remain healthy.

Plan replays and podcast episodes separately
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That condition does not establish that an uninterrupted 24/7 stream will produce a complete replay. If a dependable full replay matters, plan shorter scheduled blocks and separately publish edited full-length episodes.
To make a YouTube podcast listing, create a podcast in YouTube Studio as a playlist and add full-length video episodes. YouTube says MP3 files alone cannot be podcast episodes. A live radio broadcast and an on-demand podcast playlist can serve the same Malayalam show, but each has its own publishing workflow. See YouTube’s podcast setup guidance.
