You can run Marathi devotional recordings as a continuous YouTube broadcast by feeding an authorized playlist into an encoder and connecting it to a YouTube Live event. First verify that your channel can livestream, confirm the rights for every recording, then set up playback, connect the stream key, test the output and arrange ongoing monitoring. A 24/7 schedule does not itself guarantee uninterrupted streaming, an archive, monetization or permission to use the music.
1. Confirm you have the rights to stream the recordings
Before you build a playlist, confirm you have permission to livestream each recording and, if you plan to keep a replay, to retain that archive. Check the rights in the sound recording, musical composition, performance, lyrics and any images or video shown with it. Devotional or traditional subject matter does not automatically make a particular recording free to use.
YouTube scans livestreams for matches to third-party content. It may replace the broadcast with a placeholder, interrupt it or terminate it if it detects material that violates its rules. A licence may not prevent an interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. YouTube explains the process in its copyright guidance for live streams.

2. Make sure the channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no livestreaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable livestreaming before the date you want to launch. See YouTube’s livestreaming eligibility guidance and encoder setup guide.

- Sign in to the YouTube account for the channel.
- Complete channel verification if it is not already verified.
- Check that the channel has no current livestream restriction, including one within the 90-day eligibility lookback.
- Allow up to 24 hours after enabling livestreaming for first-time activation.
3. Choose how to play and send the recordings
The basic setup is a playout source that plays your playlist, an encoder that sends the resulting audio and video, and a YouTube Live event that receives it. YouTube’s encoder guide describes the server URL and stream key workflow and lists examples of software, cloud and hardware options.

YouTube’s directory identifies examples, not a guarantee that a specific setup will remain online. The available guidance does not establish one ideal resolution, frame rate, bitrate or codec for every Marathi devotional playlist. Match encoder settings to your source files and sustained upload connection, and consult YouTube’s current technical specifications for the encoder you choose rather than guessing a universal bitrate.

4. Create the YouTube Live event and connect the encoder
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Create a new stream or schedule one. Scheduling lets you promote the event and allows viewers to set reminders.
- Open the Live Control Room and find the stream’s server URL and stream key.
- In the encoder, enter the YouTube server URL and stream key, then select the playlist or playout source.
- Keep the stream key private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Start the encoder and check that its preview reaches the Live Control Room. Depending on the selected workflow, you may also need to start the event in YouTube Studio.
5. Test playback and plan for failures
Run a test before announcing the stream. Confirm the picture and audio in the Live Control Room preview, then check that the event is accessible from the channel or watch page and on a phone. YouTube recommends testing, checking the preview before going live and monitoring the audio and video throughout the broadcast. If you are recording locally, verify that the archive file is growing.

For a continuous channel, decide in advance who checks the output and what to do if the playlist stops, the encoder disconnects or the internet fails. Keep a backup of source files you are authorized to use, and document a restart procedure. Monitoring and a recovery plan reduce avoidable downtime, but the cited YouTube guidance does not promise a particular uptime or provide a Marathi-specific reliability setting.

6. Understand archiving and watch-hour rules
YouTube’s encoder setup guidance says livestreams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that one event running longer than 12 hours will be archived. If a replay matters, consider scheduling bounded events and verify the current archive behavior in YouTube Studio.
YouTube’s guidance published August 12, 2026 says public archived livestreams can count toward qualified YouTube Partner Program watch hours, while livestreams that are not archived do not count. This is a qualification rule, not a promise that a channel will be accepted into the program or earn revenue. Eligibility and monetization features remain conditional on the channel meeting YouTube’s requirements and enabling the relevant features. See YouTube’s YPP eligibility guidance.
