You can run recorded accounting lessons as a continuous YouTube live stream by feeding a playlist of your videos to an encoder, then sending that encoder’s output to a YouTube Live Control Room stream. First verify that your channel can livestream, test the full setup, and plan for power, internet, monitoring, and recovery. A cloud service is an alternative if you do not want a computer and home connection to keep the stream running.
Before you start: confirm your channel is eligible
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. If this is the first time you enable live streaming, activation may take up to 24 hours. Check access in YouTube Studio and allow time for activation before scheduling a launch. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
Choose how to keep the lessons playing
Run an encoder on a computer
YouTube describes encoders as suitable for external audio or video hardware and more advanced production. You provide the recorded lessons to the encoder, which sends a live feed to YouTube. This approach gives you control over the playlist and production, but the computer, power, and local internet connection must remain available. You also need a plan to notice and recover from interruptions.
Use a cloud service
A cloud service can run pre-recorded video without relying on a computer at your teaching location. YouTube’s encoder list includes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 pre-recorded video streaming; that listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of its current limits, pricing, availability in India, or archive behavior. Check those details with any provider before choosing.

Set up a YouTube stream with an encoder
- Verify and enable live streaming. In YouTube Studio, confirm your channel is verified and has live access. If you have not livestreamed before, wait for activation, which YouTube says may take up to 24 hours.
- Create a stream in Live Control Room. Create or schedule the live stream in YouTube Live Control Room. YouTube provides a server URL and stream key for the encoder. Copy both into the encoder’s YouTube streaming settings.
- Protect the stream key. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it, show it in a lesson recording, or share it with people who should not control the stream. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube and update the encoder with the new key.
- Build the lesson sequence. Add the recorded lessons in the order you want viewers to see them and configure the encoder to play or loop the sequence. Confirm the encoder supports the looping and reconnection behavior you need; settings vary by product.
- Check upload capacity at the stream location. Measure available upload bandwidth where the encoder will run. Include video and audio bitrate in the total and leave headroom: YouTube recommends 20% extra bandwidth beyond the stream’s needs. Do not assume a connection is adequate based on location alone.
- Test before going public. Run a private or unlisted test and check the Live Control Room preview, the viewer-facing watch page, sound, picture, and any local recording you intend to keep. YouTube advises setting up ahead of time and monitoring stream quality. An external microphone can improve lesson audio, but YouTube says expensive equipment is not required.
- Publish and monitor. Start the encoder and confirm YouTube receives the feed before making the stream public. Monitor picture, sound, and connection status. Decide in advance who will respond if the encoder, power, or internet fails; YouTube recommends testing failover for event encoders, but its guidance does not provide a complete reliability design for a continuous 24/7 channel.

Understand duration, archives, and interruptions
YouTube says encoder streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its cited encoder guidance does not promise that a stream lasting 24 hours will be archived as one video, run indefinitely, or stay uninterrupted. If you need a recording, arrange your own local archive where appropriate and verify current YouTube behavior before relying on a full-day archive. Check that the chosen encoder or cloud provider supports looping, reconnection, and stream restarts, and test what viewers see after a disconnect.

Keep the lessons rights-safe and assess monetization realistically
Use material you have rights to stream
YouTube’s livestream terms make the creator responsible for having the necessary rights to use live content worldwide, including applicable music rights, and for complying with relevant laws. Use lessons, slides, screen recordings, music, and other assets that you own or are properly licensed to use. A lesson being educational does not by itself establish that every included asset is cleared for livestreaming or archiving.
Do not assume a loop qualifies for monetization
Eligible channels may use ads and fan-funding features such as Super Chat, Super Stickers, and memberships on live streams, but YouTube does not guarantee ad slots. Monetization also depends on channel eligibility and policy compliance. YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to live streams. Its July 15, 2025 clarification says repetitive or mass-produced content is “inauthentic content” and ineligible under its existing policies. Review whether a continuously repeated lesson catalog provides original value rather than assuming that looping alone qualifies.

Troubleshooting common problems
- Live streaming is unavailable: Check channel verification and whether there has been a live-stream restriction within the previous 90 days. If this is your first stream, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- YouTube does not receive the encoder feed: Recheck the server URL and stream key copied from Live Control Room, confirm the encoder is using the intended stream, and ensure the key has not been changed or exposed.
- The stream buffers or drops: Measure upload bandwidth at the operating location, reduce the combined video and audio bitrate if needed, and preserve YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. Check local internet and power, then test the encoder’s reconnection or failover behavior.
- Viewers hear poor or missing audio: Check the encoder’s audio input and levels in a private or unlisted test. Listen from the viewer-facing page rather than relying only on local monitoring.
- The 24-hour broadcast is not archived as expected: The cited YouTube guidance only guarantees automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours. Do not depend on a single full-day archive without verifying current platform behavior; consider a separate local recording.
- Monetization is limited or unavailable: Check channel eligibility and YouTube’s current monetization policies. A repeated catalog may raise inauthentic-content concerns; adding a live label does not establish originality.
