You can keep a Hindi NCERT revision program available around the clock by preparing original or properly licensed lessons, connecting a looping playlist to YouTube Live through an encoder, and assigning someone to monitor it. A 24/7 broadcast is not the same as a teacher teaching live for 24 hours, and YouTube does not guarantee that a stream that long will be archived. Check rights before sending any textbook pages, figures, music, or third-party video to the stream.
Choose what viewers will see
Decide whether the channel will carry prerecorded lessons, a loop of chapter reviews, a live teacher-led session, or a mix. If you use prerecorded material, say so in the stream description; do not imply that a teacher is available live or that viewers can get a real-time answer when the program is a loop.
Organize the program so someone joining at any hour can identify what is playing. Divide lessons by class, subject, chapter, and session; use readable Hindi chapter cards and a persistent class/subject/chapter label. Add a Hindi playlist guide or schedule in the description. These are editorial choices, not YouTube requirements.
- A low-rights-risk starting point is your own Hindi explanation, original diagrams, and worked examples.
- For each textbook scan, figure, answer key, song, or third-party video, check the rights notice for that specific item. Online access or educational purpose alone does not establish permission to rebroadcast it.
- Make text legible on a phone and check that Hindi characters render correctly in the exported video.
Prepare a concise title, thumbnail, playlist order, and a route for viewers to report corrections. Assign a person to monitor playback, chat, and rights notices.

Clear the rights before you build the playlist
NCERT’s CIET-DIKSHA page describes NCERT textbooks as CC BY-NC-ND and other DIKSHA resources as CC BY-NC-SA. Treat that as a category-level summary, not blanket permission for every file: check the individual resource’s metadata and the terms of the license attached to it. CC licenses have different conditions, and “NC” and “ND” have particular implications for commercial use and adaptations. If the proposed broadcast does not clearly fit the applicable terms, seek permission rather than assuming it is cleared.
DIKSHA’s FAQ lists several license families, including CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC, CC BY-ND variants, and YouTube License. A license label is not blanket authorization to use every item on the platform. DIKSHA’s Terms of Use make contributors responsible for rights, authorship, year, attributions, and compliance with the applicable license.
Keep a rights log for every external asset. Record its source URL, creator or rights holder, license or written permission, required attribution, any territory or use limits, and who approved it. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. Even if you have a license, a rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist; otherwise a match can still lead to a warning, replacement of the stream with a placeholder, interruption, or termination.

Do not describe the channel as NCERT-authorized or official unless you have that authorization. Copyright clearance and eligibility for monetization are separate questions; do not assume that licensed or educational material automatically meets YouTube’s monetization requirements for original content.

Before announcing a launch, open YouTube Studio and check that the channel can go live. YouTube Help’s live-streaming guidance, current as accessed October 3, 2026, says the streamer must be at least 16, the channel must be verified, and it must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. First-time live activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the first scheduled program.
YouTube supports encoder workflows for external audio and video inputs and production overlays. You do not need a dedicated hardware encoder: software and cloud encoders are also options. The encoder directory is a list of products, not an endorsement or a reliability guarantee.

| Route | Fits best when | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo cloud playout | You want an uploaded-video playlist to run on YouTube without leaving a creator’s computer on. It is first to consider because it runs always-on from the cloud, streams at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. | Confirm the playlist and files fit your plan, keep account access secure, and assign someone to monitor the channel and rights notices. |
| Local software encoder | You have a computer and someone who can operate or supervise it. | Dependence on local power and internet, looping and reconnect controls, playlist handling, software cost, and operator workload. |
| Another cloud playout service | You want prerecorded programming to run without a dedicated creator PC. | Restart policy, playlist scheduling, file limits, access controls, monitoring, recurring cost, regional availability, and support. |
| Hardware encoder | You have dedicated production inputs or a staffed broadcast setup. | Capital cost, input needs, remote monitoring, maintenance, and operator skills. |
| Separate scheduled sessions | Replay and chapter discovery matter more than keeping one watch page continuously active. | Session length, archive availability, reminders, playlist navigation, and moderation staffing. |
YouTube’s documentation describes encoder categories and scheduled streams; it does not establish a provider’s current terms, price, regional access, or reliability. Check current vendor specifications before choosing a service.
Prepare and connect a local encoder
- Prepare the program. Export or arrange the lessons in the intended order, with clear chapter transitions. Check Hindi text, audio, and phone-size legibility. If looping, watch the transition from the end of the playlist back to the beginning.
- Open YouTube Studio. Select Create → Go Live to open Live Control Room. Create a stream or schedule it if you want to share the URL and invite reminders in advance.
- Copy the connection details. In the stream’s settings, copy the YouTube stream URL/server and stream key into the matching fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not show it on screen or share it in public. If you suspect it was exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Set video and audio deliberately. Use the encoder’s YouTube-compatible output preset and select a resolution and frame rate that match your source; avoid upscaling low-resolution lessons. Set the encoder’s bitrate and keyframe interval to the current recommendations shown for your selected YouTube stream settings and encoder. The YouTube setup information cited here does not specify fixed bitrate, resolution, or keyframe values, so do not copy a number from an unrelated resolution or frame rate.
- Check the preview before going live. Confirm the picture, Hindi text, audio level, title, playlist order, and stream status in Live Control Room. Start the encoder and wait for YouTube’s preview/status to show that it is receiving the stream, then select the go-live control when ready.
- Rehearse the failure path. Use a private or unlisted rehearsal to check chapter transitions, loop behavior, captions or on-screen text, chat moderation, and how the operator will restart playback after a failure. This is a production precaution, not an official YouTube requirement.
A microphone is optional when the program is prerecorded or the built-in audio is adequate. For original Hindi narration, an external microphone may help with recording quality, but YouTube does not require a particular microphone.

Plan continuity, moderation, and replay separately
A continuous broadcast is an operating task, not a one-time upload. Test the internet connection and the longest run you actually intend to operate. Write down who will notice a stopped encoder, restore the playlist, handle chat, and communicate if the program is interrupted. Local setups depend on the computer, power, and network being available; cloud playout can remove the creator PC as a single point of dependence, but it does not by itself establish uninterrupted service.
Rank #4
Replay needs its own plan. YouTube Help’s encoder guide says, “All streams under 12 hours will be automatically archived.” That rule does not establish that a single uninterrupted stream longer than 12 hours will be archived. If viewers need replays, publish individual lesson recordings or schedule sessions under 12 hours, then verify the archive in Studio.
Set chat moderation for a school audience and staff it when the stream is unattended. YouTube’s live-stream guidance says live content must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. The same guidance documents limits of 10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key; a single revision channel will ordinarily need fewer.

With StreamNeo, the workflow is: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos to YouTube; it does not broadcast a live camera feed. The computer at home can be off while playback runs from the cloud.

Estimate upload time and operating cost
For a local setup, account for the computer, electricity, internet reliability, and the time someone spends monitoring it; actual costs depend on your equipment and connection. For a cloud service, compare the recurring price, storage and file limits, restart policy, support, and access from your region. Do not treat an advertised cloud service as a guarantee that the stream cannot fail.
If you use StreamNeo, its upload-time calculator can help estimate how long your files may take to upload, and its cloud vs PC cost calculator can help compare your own local operating costs with cloud playout. Use the copyright safety checklist as an additional planning aid, not as a substitute for checking each asset’s license and terms.
