To create a 24/7 Indian music YouTube channel with Gyre, first enable live streaming on your verified YouTube channel, clear rights for every recording and composition, prepare your music and visual, then upload the files, configure a playlist and stream, test privately, and launch. Gyre runs the uploaded program from its cloud workflow, so your computer does not need to stay on. The rights check is essential: YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, and licensed tracks can still be interrupted if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel.
Before you start: channel access, music rights, and a program plan
Enable live streaming early
Verify your YouTube channel and enable live streaming before you plan to launch. YouTube for Artists advises allowing at least 24 hours before your first broadcast. Gyre’s channel-authorization guide also lists verification, live streaming enabled, and no recent live-stream restrictions as prerequisites; confirm the current requirements in YouTube and Gyre when setting up.
If you are using a label’s or distributor’s catalog, coordinate with the relevant rights contacts before building the playlist. Channel access alone does not grant permission to broadcast the music.

Build a coherent Indian music program
Choose a listener use case that the channel can sustain, such as Indian classical focus music, instrumental study music, a devotional program with cleared rights, or a label’s own catalog. Arrange the tracks into a playlist that feels intentional rather than simply continuous. Select a visual layer—such as cover art, a subtle loop, or a visualizer—that you are permitted to use.

There is no established universal ideal playlist duration. Choose a length that fits the catalog, licensing scope, and operating plan rather than treating any recommended number of hours as a proven optimum.
Clear the composition and the recording
Indian copyright law distinguishes musical works from sound recordings. A finished track can therefore involve more than one rights holder: permission for the recording does not automatically establish permission for the underlying composition or lyrics. Review the Copyright Office’s Copyright Act, 1957, Chapter I and Hand Book of Copyright Law for the relevant categories.
Before launch, ask the applicable artist, label, publisher, distributor, or other rights owner to confirm that permission covers the actual tracks and recordings, livestreaming on YouTube, intended territories, and monetization if you plan to enable it. “Royalty-free” or licensed catalog music is not a blanket clearance; check the license terms for this channel and use.

YouTube states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A license alone may not prevent a live interruption if allowlisting has not been completed. See YouTube Help’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Possible sourcing routes include music you own, direct artist or label licensing, the YouTube Audio Library, and commercial catalog services such as Epidemic Sound or Artlist. Each route still requires checking the exact license scope and any channel-specific allowlisting process.
Set up the stream in Gyre
- Prepare the files and visual. Gather the audio/video files you intend to play and the visual layer you have permission to use. Keep a track list and rights records with the project so you can identify what is in the broadcast.
- Upload and inspect the media. Upload the files to Gyre and review its file report. Gyre says its converter checks files and can optimize them; inspect the result and verify the audio and visual rather than assuming every source file is suitable as-is.
- Create the playlist. Arrange the uploaded items in the order you want played and check that the playlist contains only cleared material. Gyre documents playlist setup as part of its workflow.
- Connect the YouTube channel. Use Gyre’s channel authorization workflow where available. Its guide also describes manual stream-key setup. Treat the stream key as a secret: enter it only in the intended service, do not publish it, and replace it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Set stream details and schedule or launch. Enter the stream information, choose the playlist, and schedule the broadcast or start it when ready. Gyre’s available labels and controls may change; use the current interface and check the resulting event in YouTube Studio.
- Run an unlisted test. YouTube for Artists recommends testing an unlisted stream before a high-investment broadcast. Check that the audio is audible and consistent, the visual displays correctly, the channel connection works, and there are no rights notices or interruptions.
- Publish and monitor. Once the test passes, make the intended broadcast public and monitor YouTube Studio’s stream status and copyright notices. Keep the rights owner’s allowlisting confirmation available if you have licensed protected tracks.

Its documented sequence includes uploading files, building a playlist, connecting a channel, configuring stream details, and scheduling or launching. The company’s feature and reliability statements are vendor claims, not independent evidence of audience growth or uninterrupted operation.

For a DIY local setup, use OBS Studio or another encoder and follow YouTube’s current live-stream setup guidance for the selected event and stream settings. The reviewed sources do not establish one universal bitrate, resolution, or keyframe interval for every Indian music channel, source file, and connection, so do not copy a single setting as a general requirement. Test the chosen configuration in an unlisted stream and check YouTube’s stream health indicators.

Gyre advertises a seven-day trial, but trial availability, plan limits, and pricing can change; confirm the live terms on Gyre’s website before choosing a plan. A continuous stream is an operating format, not a guarantee of views, watch time, monetization, or channel growth. Gyre has published a single music-channel case study reporting results across two consecutive 90-day periods; those vendor-reported figures describe that case, not a forecast for a new channel.

Account for the rights cost and scope as well as the streaming service. If a catalog license has territory or monetization limits, make sure the planned audience and YouTube settings fit those terms before broadcasting.
