Super Chat and Super Stickers have the same stated YouTube revenue share: creators receive 70% of Supers revenue confirmed by Google, calculated after local sales tax and iOS App Store fees. To find which feature earned more on your Indian livestream, compare their separate entries in YouTube Studio Analytics for the same content and date range. There is no supported fixed rupee payout per purchase; use your channel’s reported revenue and finalized earnings instead.
How to compare the two features in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio. Go to Analytics, then select Revenue.
- Choose the scope. Select the livestream or other relevant content and set the date range you want to compare.
- Open the Supers breakdown. In How Supers make money, compare the reported amounts for Super Chat and Super Stickers.
- Keep the comparison consistent. Use the same dates, content scope, and currency display for both features. Analytics can show estimated revenue; for settled amounts, check finalized earnings and the Commerce Product Module terms in Studio.

What the 70% revenue share means
YouTube states that creators receive 70% of Supers revenue confirmed by Google. The calculation is after local sales tax and iOS App Store fees; YouTube says it currently covers transaction costs such as credit-card fees. This guidance applies to both Super Chat and Super Stickers, so it does not establish a higher creator percentage for either feature. What differs between Super Chat and Super Stickers
- Super Chat: a highlighted live-chat message that can include a viewer’s optional message.
- Super Sticker: a digital or animated image shown in live chat.
Purchase value can affect a feature’s prominence or whether it is pinned, but that visual treatment does not show that its revenue share is different. For an earnings comparison, focus on the feature-level Analytics amounts, not how noticeable a purchase looked in chat.
Availability and limits for creators and viewers in India
India appears on YouTube’s list of locations where Super Chat and Super Stickers are available, subject to channel and content eligibility. Creators must meet YouTube’s requirements, comply with the applicable terms, and accept the relevant Commerce Product Module. Supers require an eligible livestream or Premiere with live chat available. They are unavailable on age-restricted, unlisted, private, made-for-kids, and YouTube Giving fundraiser videos, and when live chat or comments are turned off. YouTube’s viewer guidance gives general combined purchase limits of up to US$2,000 per day and US$8,000 per week, or the equivalent in local currency, across certain Supers products and Jewels. These are viewer purchase caps, not creator earnings rates or an India-specific price schedule. Purchases below US$5 or the local equivalent do not appear in the ticker. YouTube says fan-funding features are not crowdfunding or donation tools and advises creators to understand applicable laws. Read its Supers eligibility and policy guidance before describing these purchases to viewers as support.

Why estimated and finalized amounts may not match
Analytics estimates and finalized AdSense for YouTube earnings can differ. YouTube notes that tax withholding is one reason finalized earnings may change. Compare like-for-like revenue stages when reviewing performance: estimate against estimate, or finalized amount against finalized amount.
