There is no reliable, generation-wide winner: Exynos and Snapdragon results depend on the Galaxy model, workload and test conditions. Compare the same Galaxy model and size, then assess peak CPU and graphics performance, sustained load and battery life separately. A Galaxy S24 test is useful as an example, but it cannot predict results for another model or generation.
Start with equivalent phones
To isolate the chipset as much as possible, match the exact Galaxy model and size. Also check storage configuration where relevant, battery capacity, display resolution and refresh settings, and software version. An S24+ result is not a fair direct comparison with a base S24: differences in phone size and hardware can affect performance and endurance independently of the processor.
Confirm the chipset and model number for the regional variant being tested. Galaxy chipset availability has varied by region and product year, so a review may not describe the phone sold in your market. Historical patterns do not guarantee what a newer Galaxy will use or how it will perform. Android Authority discusses the changing regional and generational picture in its overview of Exynos versus Snapdragon.

Peak CPU and graphics performance
Use named, versioned benchmarks and compare repeated runs or averages when available. CPU scores and graphics scores answer different questions; neither alone establishes which phone feels faster across every app or game. Short synthetic tests capture a brief workload, not necessarily performance after the phone heats up.

Sustained performance and heat
For long gaming sessions or other heavy workloads, look for longer tests that report performance stability, temperature or throttling. Notebookcheck observed performance dips under sustained load on its Exynos 2600 Galaxy S26 review device, illustrating why an initial peak score is not the whole story. That observation applies to its tested device and conditions, not every Exynos phone.
Newer comparisons also show why model size matters. Tom’s Guide’s 2026 Galaxy S26 comparison reports graphics differences across base and Plus models, rather than a single result that can stand in for the entire generation. Check the exact model and test in its S26 performance comparison.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.

What S24 benchmark results do—and do not—show
Tom’s Guide averaged three Geekbench 6 runs on regular Galaxy S24 variants in 2024. It reported Exynos results of 2,147 single-core and 6,738 multi-core, versus Snapdragon results of 2,235 single-core and 6,922 multi-core. Those are that outlet’s CPU benchmark observations for that model and review period, not a verdict on graphics, sustained performance or newer Galaxy generations. See Tom’s Guide’s S24 benchmark report.

Compare battery life across several workloads
Battery rankings can change with the task because browsing, streaming, recording video, gaming and calls place different demands on a phone. Android Authority’s 2024 comparison of regular Galaxy S24 phones reported Exynos runtimes 36% longer in automated web browsing, 17% longer in 4K video playback and gaming benchmark times, and a 14% lead in its Zoom call test. Snapdragon lasted 16% longer in 4K30 video capture. These are results from that outlet’s tested S24 variants and workloads, not a promise about everyday screen-on time or another Galaxy model. Another outlet’s results help show why the model and method must travel with every figure. Tech Advisor reported 16 hours 4 minutes for Exynos and 15 hours 52 minutes for Snapdragon in its Galaxy S24+ PCMark battery test at 200 nits in 2024. Those are benchmark durations under that review’s conditions, not typical-use guarantees. The same review reported Geekbench 6 scores of 6,945 for Exynos and 6,840 for Snapdragon on the S24+. Read Tech Advisor’s S24+ comparison for its setup.
Samsung cautions that “The battery lifetime changes according to the device setting method and method of use.” Its Battery Life Time Test Procedure page also notes that real results can differ with network connection and other factors. The page describes controlled lab procedures, including simulated networks for some tests; a lab result should not be presented as an individual owner’s expected runtime. See Samsung’s Battery Life Time Test Procedure.

Use this checklist when reading a comparison
- Device: Same Galaxy model and size, with chipset and model number identified.
- Performance: Named CPU and graphics tests, version, repeat runs or averages, and a separate sustained-load test for long workloads.
- Battery workload: Identify whether the result is for browsing, video playback or capture, gaming, calls, or another task.
- Conditions: Look for brightness, refresh rate, Wi-Fi or cellular connection, signal conditions, software version, workload loop and stopping condition.
- Evidence type: Keep controlled lab results distinct from a reviewer’s day-to-day use test, and check whether the real-world workload and settings are described.
- Relevance: Match the review’s region and variant to the phone you can buy; do not carry a result from one Galaxy generation over to another.
Choose the result that matches your use
If you play demanding games for long stretches, prioritize sustained graphics performance and heat behavior over a short peak score. If most of your time is spent browsing or streaming, compare those specific endurance tests. For camera-heavy use, video-capture testing may matter more than playback. Small differences in one benchmark do not establish all-day battery superiority or an across-the-board performance winner.
