Check your oven’s exact model and manual, measure the usable rack and opening, then compare those measurements with the pan’s outside dimensions. The oven’s advertised width alone cannot tell you whether a pan will fit.
Start with your oven’s model and manual
Find the model number on the oven’s rating label, then consult its owner manual and the manufacturer’s official parts catalog. Follow the manual’s instructions for broiler cookware and rack position: GE, for example, directs owners to the manual for the rack position appropriate to their specific oven (GE oven broiling guidance).
Model-specific information matters for replacements as well as fit. Wolf publishes different dimensions and part numbers for different product lines, and notes that its M, E, and L Series ovens receive one pan per product; double ovens receive one pan for the whole unit (Wolf broiler pan dimensions and information). Treat listed part numbers as specific to the relevant product line, not as universal identifiers.
Measure the oven and the pan
Measure the usable rack width and depth, the oven cavity and door opening, and any height restrictions. Include space needed for the pan’s rim or handles. Compare these limits with the pan’s outside width, depth, and height in the orientation you intend to use. Confirm that the rack supports it, it can be inserted and removed, and the door closes fully.

A manufacturer’s dimensions are a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. For example, GE lists its WB48X10056 broiler pan as 16.75 inches deep, 12.625 inches wide, and 1.375 inches high in the product specification table. Its description gives rounded figures of 16.5 inches long, 12.75 inches wide, and 1.25 inches high. Use the labeled specification dimensions for comparison, and confirm current details and compatibility with GE before ordering (GE WB48X10056 product listing).
Compare published dimensions without assuming a standard size
Wolf’s published examples show why “broiler pan size” is not one fixed measurement. These dimensions are manufacturer specifications for the identified Wolf oven categories:

Choose cookware intended for broiling
GE recommends a broiler pan and grid designed for broiling so fat can drain from the food into the pan. A grid also helps keep food above the drippings. Whirlpool describes a shallow, high-heat metal pan with a baking rack as an alternative, and advises against glass cookware for broiling (Whirlpool broiling cookware and use guidance). Follow your oven manual if its material or cookware guidance is more specific.

When comparing pans that physically fit, check the material and stated high-heat suitability, whether a rack or grid is included, and whether the pan is compatible with your oven model. A label such as “universal” describes a product, not guaranteed compatibility with every oven.
Allow for countertop oven clearances
Countertop ovens can impose tighter limits than full-size ranges. KitchenAid says bakeware must allow airflow, let the door close fully, and stay far enough from heating elements. For its countertop oven guidance, the included broil pan is the largest pan or baking-sheet size it identifies for use in that oven, and it calls for at least 1 inch between the top of the container and the upper elements (KitchenAid countertop oven bakeware guidance). Apply those instructions to the relevant KitchenAid countertop oven; do not assume the same maximum fits another model.

- Two-piece broiler pan: set features a perforated top rack that maximizes heat circulation; ensuring even cooking and a crispy finish; while the bottom drip pan catches excess oil and juices; reducing smoke and preventing burning - perfect for grilling steaks; chicken; fish; and vegetables
- Ideal size for most ovens: this baking pan measures 16.75 inches in length and 13 inches in width; fitting perfectly into most ovens; its compact design conserves storage space when not in use

- Easy to clean and maintain: the non-stick porcelain surface prevents food from sticking; making it easy to clean with just warm soapy water and a soft sponge; it also dishwasher safe
- Multi scenario use: when grilling steak, the grill can drip oil, creating a non greasy and crispy texture; drain excess water when cooking seafood to keep fish and shrimp fresh, tender, and free from fishy odors; grilled vegetables can maintain a crispy texture on the outside and tender on the inside
Replace a pan using the model number
If you need a replacement, search the oven maker’s official parts catalog with the full model number. Confirm that the listed pan or grid matches the model and compare its dimensions with the available space before buying. Wolf lists different pan part numbers—including 819377, 819376, and 819329—across product lines; those numbers are brand-specific examples, not interchangeable universal parts. Its support guidance directs customers to certified parts distributors.
